Hey growmomma, lookin good.
Just thought I would mention I never needed a tray under the small fridge, or whats left of it and the heat it produces can easily be dispersed by a fan. I sure like that coco core stuff. Ever dump a bag of hydroton? Those little balls go everywhere. Thanks for the info.

I see your girls are going outside before sexing. Covering a branch didnt work for me but taking a clones labeling them and then starting them right off at 12/12 works good. As long as you remember what came from what.

If you intend to go outside soon you may want to know how much sunlight you have. I put some out too soon last year (may 1st) and had a couple start flowering, bummer was they wouldn't re-veg and the rest past them way up so I had to toss them.

Here is a little ap I found. Enter your latitude and date to see how much sun you have. I wouldn't put them out with under 13.5 hours of sun or less. Daylight explorer

Also you wanna harden off the plants to get them used to the sun, a little shade the first day worked for me. I'm subbed now so I be checking back.

Weed! Growing weed!

yeahhhh 8)

lemme see how that 2x2x5 tent with the 400w is doing!

I'm thinking of upgrading... buying a 400w bulb, 400w digital ballast, 6 inch vortex inline, and a 6 inch cool tube! That works right? Hoping to do 2 ladies SCROG in 3.5 gals. or maybe just one really big lady!

I will initally buy a 6 inch cooltube, and a 6 inch vortex.... the guy at the hydro store assures me I can run my 250w ballast, and 250w HID bulbs in a 6 inch cooltube.... is this correct? Or are light fixtures not plug-n-play like that?

Thanks! new to the HID game and electrical work... I hope my current outlets in my room can handle the 400w..... without having to clear everything out and getting an electrician in here :-? only 150w more though right ;)

I run 2x 400 w CMH + 125 w cfl and a 440 cfm fan on a normal 120v outlet, well 2 outlets but 1 circuit. I love me 400 watt CMH. Also I'm pretty sure the 250 w will fit in the mogul socket in a cooltube.

Thanks for the tidbit of info dude!

Yeah, I have a 12,000 BTU A/C running from an outlet about 10 feet from where I plug in my tent electronics [1 178cfm fan, 250w hood on a digital ballast, two 42w cfls and two 6 inch clip on fans]

Sometimes the AC kicks in (from FAN to COOL), the lights overhead in the room dim (slightly) and come back o after a half second - which makes me wonder about my 250w bulb, but it hasn't blown or anything... I was pretty much figuring the digital ballast would handle any slight dip in power, and keep the bulb safe!... at least for a half second.. you know?

But that makes me wonder about adding another 150w and a bigger fan on the power draw!

You should be able to safely run 16 amps on a 20 amp circuit, that is 120v of course. You can always run a cord from another outler on a diff circuit if you have to.

Sry to jack ur thread grow momma, one last thing, if anyone is wondering which outlets are on a circuit, simply plug in a lamp on the outlet in question and turn it on. Then go to your circuit box and it should be labled, you can get a general idea which circuits are outletts, refridge, microwave, etc. There should be some labled bedroom or recept, these are what you want, flip the circuit off, check inside to see if the lights on still. RECORD EVERY RECEPT AND ITS CIRCUIT NUMBER as you go consecutively from outlet to outlet.

If your circuitbox is old and not labeled, the left row of ckts is odd numbers starting at 1 at the top then 3,5 , etc. The right side is even numbers.

Growmomma your husband seems pretty handy so I'm sure he knows that already :P

verde have you thought of getting a surge protector for your ballast, i just ordered one for my lumatek digi, the surge protector for it was only $5, wise investment i thought
