First Grow With some yellowing

Hi everyone, after reading for months I decided to finally spend some cash and grow myself. I'm growing under a 400w mh right now and the plants are about a week and a half old. I'm using fox farm ocean forest and have been giving them straight distilled water (once a day). Ph levels are unknown as my tester hasn't came in yet. Temps are 78-82. Anyway, my problem is that there are some yellow spots on the first node leaves and the leaves feel really crisp-like. Any help is appreciated!

My bet is that it may be a slight ph issue. Do not feed them or attempt to do anything until your pen comes. It may be that the OF is a touch hot for the young ones. HF is what you want next time for seedlings. No big deal as they will grow strong from here on out if you play it right. No nutes for a month with these. They will be fine as long as you don't pull a kneejerk reaction to this and try and fix it without a definitive diagnosis. Above all else do not overwater them. Water every 2.5 to 3 days when the cups are light and almost dry to the bottom. Keep us informed. Take care. :leaf:

I think it's the OF. I had that problem once and that's what it turned out to be. Like was said before Happy Frog is better for the younglings. Good Luck and Happy Somking:bigjoint::bigjoint:
