Yes Steller is right .......don't forget im a fucking plant growing criminal in Tx......so I don't have access to marijuana based soils/premium readymixed soil like some people might.Hell I use soil from the Dollar General.....that said I would still mix in some perlite with that soil

On the roof is impossible but would have been nice ^^I smoke straight qwiso hash.....besides a half ounce of bud last week,I hadn't smoked flowers/buds in 6 months.
7 floor bldg....sorry to hear about that..lol
Try an outdoor grow on the roof!

Yeah, I thought so. I looked up your Groene Jan soil, and with the help of Google Translation I was able to figure out what was going on . The 14-16-18 means there is already nutrients in it. In the US we have Miracle Gro soil with similar additives.I'm from europe and the name of the soil is: "Groene Jan" xD

Your soil does not need fertilizer, "nutes" or any other thing to "speed" things along. The fertilizer should be enough to see you along for 3 months (as long as there is enough soil). Read about Miracle Gro here and you'll find that too much water means you're releasing too much fertilizer at once. So do not fertilize until the plant is well more along.

You can go to any nursery and find all types of potting soils. Look for ones that have 'hippie' type art. You know, like Fox Farms does. I recently grew with some off brand cheap-o soil. Yeah, it worked, but I had some problems with it. For a couple of dollars more per ounce (Euros per kilo), it is just worth it. IMHO.
As far as feeling sorry for you living in hang 'em high Texas, I don't. I moved here because of the lax outlook on pot in these parts. No sense going to prison over a weed. The additional stress of the risk would be enough to make me move.

A half-ounce (14 grams) in a week? People like you is why I don't let people know I have pot. It takes me a full year to smoke two ounces.One grow easily lasts me two years.
If I smoke your pot, one or two hits is enough. If you smoke my pot, you'd be sucking a month's worth, and still you'd want more. I don't care if people think I'm a mooch, I don't like to share because too many people smoke like they're Hoovers.

Grams a week! That's about 5 ounces a year! Think what it'll be like if you unlimited access. I go through about an ounce and a half (40 grams) a year. And I get high nearly every day. I'm a lightweight. That's why I need only grow every two years. Any longer than that and I wouldn't feel safe with the old bud. The surplus is donated to the Sober Of Salt Lake City Fund.I smoke like 5 grams a week, not a lot in comparison xD

I bought a vaporizer a couple years a go. The high seems like a cleaner high. And I'm not stinking up the joint with pot smoke. I use about the same amount, maybe less. Probably healthier.

I transplanted both plants [had to get bigger pots at the store first and more soil]

You transplanted at a good time. Not too overgrown. If you transplant too early, the soil falls apart in your hands.
I use cheap trashcans for pots. Drill holes in the bottom. Use them around the house when done growing. The point of CFL grows is to keep it cheap. I want to get two uses for anything I use to grow. That way, my only expense is the seeds, a small amount of fertilizer, and the electricity. Even the soil I use in my garden in the spring.
After you transplant, it might seem they stopped growing. They're doing all their growing underground. Water once and don't water for a week or so. Makes the roots grow all around the pot looking for water. Of course, water if they start drooping too much. Over-watering is the #1 rookie mistake.
Did you see my grow? I noticed I didn't photograph the big colas, just pictures of the secondary nuggets. In one picture, at the top right, you can make out my primo 10 inch (250mm ?) cola. I've already harvested some of the lower branches, and dried and jarred them; from that I figure I'll get about 100 grams total dry bud weight from the two plants.
Have you read the pros and cons of Miracle Gro? Did you still go with the soil that has 'nutes included?
I was thinking about vaping. When I got my vaper, I realized I needed a grinder. Instead of waiting a couple of weeks for one to come in the mail, I instead went to my local, too expensive, pipe shop. Go with the metal grinders, the plastic ones are crap.

Everytime you water with fertilized soil, it releases nutrients, N-P-K. Water too much and you'll have too much N-P-K.I have seen your grow, It's beautiful

Of the two plants, I have taken all the lower branches off of one. That seems to be around 20 grams dried, and am baking with it as I write. I have removed most of the lights around plant #1 and moved them over to the bigger plant #2. Plant #1's cola and the upper buds have been hopefully tricked into thinking it is near the end. I'll probably cut it down tomorrow. Plant #2 is now just about saturated with CFLs, I'm hoping to put some real meat on her in the next few days.
I figured out that I used 320 actual watts, total, for the two plants. About half were the 6700K I used from the beginning of vegetative, and the rest small 2700K bulbs. It works out to about 1 gram per 3 watts (final numbers to be released later), leaving much room for improvement as the goal is 1 gram per 1 watt.
So, any new pictures? Is it getting bigger, bushier? What size pot did you go with?
