bathroom fans seem to be popular. i would stay away from computer fans, they dont have a whole lot of power and i doubt they would do much with a filter on the end. look for like a 3-6" inline fan

Ok one is done germinating and in my soilless mix. I got some concerns about it but i think it will be ok and if it is I will post my first pic of a little itty bitty seedling soon. The other seed is just now starting to crack.

Its amazing how fast it grows,my little seedling is about 3 times its height from 2 days ago.

I am in the SAME position.
got a two inch white widow going and im a newbie. wanted to go do a mini grow in a rubber maid but steered away and built a cab.
im doing a CFL grow and im doing a carbon filter with a computer fan. im taking square sheets of thin foam filters and filling in between two of them with carbon and then sticking that flush with the fan. If that doesnt work how i want, then ill have to build a bigger DIY carbon scrubber.

Ok so that plants dead and the other seed rotted. The seed was my fault but the seedling was an accident while transplanting. Its ok I got another in germination right now,live and learn.

Growth has exploded in the last few days,going to put (HER!!!!???) into flowering very soon!

I think its a male 
but if t is its showing sex early and I'm going to let it grow a few more days to be sure. I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT FEMINIZED SEEDS AHHH.
If it is I'm going to start over but I'm going to grow a bunch of small plants 12/12 from seed because I'm tired of waiting. Most will be bagseed in that case,some will be widow.

It looks like a female. But its kinda hard to tell with the pics. I read a post about taking pictures with phones. If you have a magnifying glass, shoot through the magnifying glass. Check out my last post, I just tested it out and it worked awesome.

Those very much resemble male parts to me...If you are referring to the pistil like things in the pic those are not pistils. I forget the exact term but they are on male and female plants alike on the side of the nodes. Pistils are white clear and dont come out the side of the stem like that so yeah im almost sure its a male. Good eye tweekjones and feminized isnt always a guarantee either. I recently got a few bag seeds from my friends dro he must have had a hermie in the mix from his feminized seeds.
