First grow using Aquaponics

Here are my babies growing using Aquaponics......they're about 3 weeks old. I noticed that the leaves were light green and dark veins. Not getting nutrients so I tested the water and the PH was high so I've been adding acid and they seem to be bouncing back. You can see the plant in front Cum Laude is pale green with dark green veins and leaves curling down, but it's looking much better.. kool....

Update on these plants. THE VOID, ROYAL DWARF AUTO FLOWERING, AMNESIA HAZE, PAKISTAN VALLY ( Bad geno was tiny plant),
JACK HERER, CHEMDOG (chemdog was a male),
AND QUERKLE (Bad geno skinny leaves tiny plant) CLUSTER, TNT KUSH, MONSTER, JAMAICAN DREAM (Another bad geno small plant), AND JACK. The rest of the beans were duds never popped.

After doing some research on germination I'm getting great results by using rock wool and heat. I soak the rock wool then add the bean. Then I water the bean and then put the rock wool under a florescent light for heat.
Trying another method by putting the seeds in a glass of water until the seed sinks to the bottom of the glass. The seed has up to 3 days to hit bottom. You have to tap the seed down to see if they sink.
2 Afghani Peshawar, White Shark, and Afghan Skunk popped today.
"One day, without no warning Things keep jumping out from the ground. Homegrown's alright with me. Home grown is the way it should be. Home grown is a good thing. Plant that bell and let it ring"....

New computer....alright!!....time to start flower cycle will load pictures before setting to flower.

Turns out that Boss Hogg and Ata Tundra are males. I plan on collecting the flowers so I can cross them with a female. The 2006 Vintage died, was very small plant anyways bad phenotype.

Week 5 in flowering, the girls are putting out pretty buds... hurry!!!

Clones getting big. It's time once again to clone and set some vegging clones to flower. Another air pump died causing me to lose a few plants. That sucked!

search lead me to the mother lode, exactly what I'm looking for. Do you think this tech could be used outside, say in an above ground pool?

Hey gang, it's been a long time since I posted let me first say hello and hope your grow is growing well. My last order from Attitude Seed Bank was the December 2013 Christmas promotion. Growing; Green Crack, Sharks Breath, SKUNK 47, SILVER KUSH, SAGE N SOUR, PURPLE TRAINWRECK, DINACHEM, all THE PROMOTIONALS POPPED EXCEPT THE ONE I REALLY WANTED WAS GIRL SCOUT COOKIES. I ORDERED MIXED SEEDS FROM GAGE GREEN SEEDS AND ACE SEEDS. TRYING TO GET SOME MALES TO TAKE A BATCH OF PLANTS TO SEED. HAVE MY OWN SEEDS TO PLANT. BEEN CLONING THE ONES I CAN AND SETTING UP ANOTHER TANK TO BE A VEG. TANK. FIRST PLANTS POPPED ON JAN. 8TH OTHERS POPPED LATER SO I'M WAITING TO FLOWER WHEN THE OTHER PLANTS CATCH UP IN GROWTH. WAS GOING TO FLOWER NOW IN MARCH BUT I'LL WAIT TILL APRIL TO START FLOWERING. WILL POST PICTURES SOON. HOPE YOUR GROW IS GROWING..

These are plants from Dec 2013 X-mas promotion from Attitude Seeds.
I purchased Ace Seeds indoor seeds mix
and Gage Green Genetics Seed Indoor seed mix.
I bought the mixed seeds because they each seed company has interesting gene pools.
I'm hoping to get a male plant so I can create some of my own seeds to plant by crossing them with the female plants I got for free from attitudes.
Anyone else growing X-mas promo seeds?
Everything popped except the seed i was looking forwards to was Girl Scout Cookies.

I found a few seeds in my plants. Buying reg. seeds from Gage Green Genetics Seeds and Ace Seeds Indoor Mix I found 5 male plants from GGG and 1 male plant from Ace Seeds . All with no names but sure to be great genetics from these seed producers. Crossed the males with the females from Attitudes X-mas Promotion. Found seeds in;
Dinachem X GGG.
GGG1 X GGG
Silver Kush X GGG
Sage N Sour X Ace Seeds
Kosher Kush X Ace Seeds
Green Crack X Ace Seeds
Haven't found a lot of seeds maybe a dozen or so but it's cool thinking I produced and get to name a few brand new strains. I just planted a few seeds that my plants produced. Not knowing the male plant genetics sucks but if the females genetics are dominate it should be some kick ass weed.

Kosher Tangie x Ace mix seed popped it's a bit stretchy but ok I created a new strain. New name (KAT) Kosher Ace Tangie. It looks to be 4 days old or so I kept looking at the box and I saw nothing I should of opened the box earlier. Planted the 9th it's the 16th say it popped on the 12th. KAT popped 6/12.

I made a homemade germination box using the clear plastic box from a Pound Cake I bought in the grocery store. The box is the perfect size for Rockwool cubes.

Could I use my turtle tank ? Got 2 of them + a whole Eco system with fish plants yabbies but then I'm scared my grow could get diseased from the plants in the tank already. I love the idea of using there waste products as nutes. I would have to make somthing to stop the greedy buggers getting to the roots tho.

How big are your tanks? If you have an air pump pumping air into a tank go forth and grow. I had trouble with goldfish eating the roots. I bought feeder goldfish to help set-up the tank and those fuckers lived and got huge. I couldn't kill them so they went into another 55 gallon tank that I couldn't use for DWC plants. I could have set-up a flow and drain but that tank is in my living room.
I don't think the plants in your tank already would do any harm in your grow.
While everyone is worried about sterilization and having clean water I let my tanks get dirty from rotting vegetation. The plants roots will clean the water so they must need dirty water in order to have something to clean and use as food. It happens in nature where dead plant material is used to feed new plants. Just watch PH it may get too acidic. I ordered PH down thinking I needed it if I was adding more than 20 gallons of water to my flower tank cause my tap water is very alkaline. I tested the water and it was perfect for the plants lower than the 7.0 PH which fish like Guppies can live in acidic water so everything is ready to use for plants.
Well the goldfish finally died and I plan on using that tank to grow herbs and vegetables.
The price a apartment dweller pays without a yard to grow. You need space for a tank or buckets and artificial lighting. Put your tanks to good use and grow grow grow.....

I ordered seeds from Attitude's July Promotion and I have germinated and growing; Painkiller, Black Angel, Green Poison, The Doctor, Jack, and 1 Mandala plant from a 10 seed mix.
6 plants out of 30 seeds germinated. Not very good percentage.
LSD seed was eaten by white worms, I killed The Doctor and Jack Herer.
I ordered from Attitudes August Promotion. I hope I get more than 6 plants out of the deal.
Now I germinated seeds that my plants produced and they are doing beautiful. I just put 2 Blondies and 2 Kosher into the flower tank. Blondies are seeds found in the Dinachem plant.
Dinachem x Gage. Have no idea which Gage Green Genetic plant is the father. I had 4 male GGG plants bloom right next to Dinachem.
I named it Blondie because Dinachems' taste reminded me of Blonde Hash from the 80's.
Kosher = Kosher Tangie x Ace plant. I have no idea which Ace plant is the father. The Ace male was from the Ace mixed seeds I ordered.
So far I noticed that the Blondie plant has more cola shoots than my Dinachem plant. I hope the Blondies and Kosher are females. Will let you know.
