Thanks growmo. Hows the grow going? I'll have pics up tomorrow or Friday at the very latest! They seem to love being tied up....dirty little girls!!

You don't really wanna use distilled with soil...it's more for hydro...a necessity really but in soil normal tap water with the chlorine evaporated out should do just fine...better than distilled

Better choice then yarn in my opinion as well.
Yes sir, lst'ing in some way shape or form is essential to maximize when your doing it on a small scale like us. Quality over quantity, right my cannabis cohort?

Quality over quantity is right buddy! However, I'm shooting to successfuly merge the two worlds :)!
 
UPDATE:

Everything is going great, not much to report. The LST is working as advertised, and I have several tops on the babies :)! they all have recovered so well from the early problems they had. They are all the prettiest green now....I love it!!! So, what does everyone think so far !?

What size are your buckets?

I've had some issues in the past 24 hours unfortunately but glad to see you are still kicking ass!

What are your plans for when this grow is done? Are you going to clone or start from seeds again?

I've started a separate Vegging area and my wife is starting to think I've gone a bit nuts :bigjoint:

You are brave doing LST; looks good though. I'm scared to try anything too advanced for my first time.

Looks like you really took your time with it and looks well done!

LST isnt too advanced!! just get some wool or any decent cord, and any branches that is getting too close to the light too fast just tie it way down. that easy. The bushier your plants gets the more budsite you will get , it's not about growing a tall plant.

Hey! Thanks man, I'm very proud of what little I've accomplished thus far!! They are in 4 gallon pots. As far as plans when this is done....I think what I'll do is take clones for sexing and then grow out the best looking/most resilient female clone into a mother for the next go-round. Or maybe i will do seeds again. I still have a blue dream, a blue cheese, another headbandz and 4 more blueberries. Gotta make a mother box if I want to go with the former. It would be nice though to know I have females and know exactly what to expect from the plant. Then I could go sog style and have short harvest times. I kinda like the idea of growing monster plants too though. It just takes too damn long. I'm probably vegging until mid Jan. +8-10 weeks flowering. Sigh......decisions decisions...

I actually tied down one section of one of my plants that was already bent. It's got a new top now so I definitely see the benefit!

I should post a picture in my journal .. oh wait you gave me an idea!
 
alot of first timers. mine is a second time first indoor as i had a outdoor this bast summer got about 6 Oz off 3 plants, had 4/4 female on my first go around im hoping for same odds this time.

the 4th plant got locked out and i just chopped it other 3 had to be harvested 2-4 weeks early due to bud rot
