First grow? Small Room

I am growing in a small room about 4'X8' I have 8'height minus the flood and drain system about 32" high. My growing tubs are 2'X4' and 3'X4'
What would be a good plant with a high yield for this environment?
What sort of yield should I realistically expect?

What kind of light setup do you have? If you have decent light and you know how to tie your plants off or flower them earlier you can modify them in all kinds of ways to grow what you want. What kind of smoke do you prefer? Upbeat and cerebral or heavy in the body and chilled out or a mix thereof? If it's your first grow in that system get something hearty with more indica so you can make mistakes on it.:peace:

I was gonna get 2 600w hps with mH bulbs as well. I was thinking of growing a variety of different buds but I am not to sure if that is very feasible. I am mostly concerned with high yield for the first grow... wanna make some hash and what not. How accurate are those grams/square meter ratings?

I think 1200w might be too much for that size of a room but check with others guys on that one. You can grow with CO2, good nutes, ebb and flow, and frsh air intake and hot air out under 1x400w and get a quarter pound per plant for four plants from clones of WW or Ak-47. :bigjoint:
So if you follow a similar setup of 100w of HPS light per plant in an ebb and flow system and do all the other stuff you could get 3 pds of herb with that setup. Your going to need good ventilation with all that HPS power. :blsmoke:

are you saying 3 Pounds for 4 plants or if I fill the room?
I was told I could get 16+ plants in a 4x8 room

I'm saying 100w HPS per plant up to say 12 plants = 1200w HPS = 1qp per plant = 3pds of stinky deliciousness!. Thats my math but based on a 400w HPS setup and experience. But I've never worked that kind of wattage. As long as you have good air flow and can keep the temps regulated down out of the 90's you'll do very well no matter what. :mrgreen:
