First grow, should I switch to flower?

Trust me ... that's gonna give you plenty of really nice tops in about 4 - 5 weeks. The canopy will make for some really nice pics too. It looks very good.

You will find as you get further into flower that some of those buds will be squeezed for light and won't produce anything worthwhile. I'd recommend cutting those out as soon as possible. Let the big dogs eat!

Thanks, I think these are going to stretch pretty good in the next week. Everyday I have been pulling big fan leaves off to expose more light to the lower tops, to keep it more even.

Think I should defoliate in a week or so to really open it up?

I would be cautious about defoliating to much. Those are the solar panels for your plant. A few select leaves is ok, but I would leave most of them alone.

Stretch will be in the 18" to 24" range. A pure sativa might stretch close to 36" ...

I'm with Buzz - leave as many fans on as possible. Clip off those branches that are getting squeezed out - around week 3 of flower you will see those smaller buds on long, skinny and whispy stalks. Those aren't going to produce anything worthwhile and end up being energy suckers. Nip those right at the start of the branch.

As the lower leaves yellow and die off, I will pull them off in the later weeks of flower. That's the only removal of plant material I do.

Once you've nipped those small branches off, you can look to tucking the larger fans behind other leaves to expose those buds to the light.

Hey I know I'm replying to a super old thread. But man, how do you keep your humidity so high I don't see a humidifier? I have to give up a good square foot for a humidifier in my 4x2 and I need that room preciously. Has anyone figure out a way to build a makeshift shelf inside the tent for a humidifier or something to keep it off the ground?

It's a 2x4 tent, HLG 320w rspec light, 10 gal pots(one in a 5 gal)

Been running 18/6 hr and topping them and a bit of training to keep them wider instead of taller.

I'm going to scrog it to help train it some more, MIGHT remove one plant as I'm not sure how crowded it will get.

Its cookie kush strain I got from clone, have about 25" of height left in the tent.

Should I switch to flower in a week? Last thing I want is these things to stretch 3 times their height now and I run out of room, but I want to fill out the canopy more.

What can I expect for growth in flower stage if I switch now?
Wa size outake filter are you using please
