First Grow - Short Rider

So finally,today i smoked the first joint of my weed!!! 
But lets get it from the beggining...after a week of drying in the closet,i got it out and chopped it to little buds.The final amount is 5g...that was a bit dissapointing!!!Anyway,i rolled a joint and it was really nice!It has a strange skunky flavor and strong aroma!It gave me a really nice functional high and a very small body high for the first hour!Its ok but it needs curing so to be as it should!The first impression was really nice!I cant wait for the other 6 babies to go on!!!!
I got to go now...i must be at work in about 30'...i ll post pictures later!C ya all!

Yo Piper!!Was' up dude?You finally found my journal!!What do you think about the last pics?Is it killing or what?I also tryied to get some pics from the microscope,but didnt work....i have to find the right settings of the camera,so to get a clean photo!How about your plants?Why dont you start a journal?You can get much help and ideas from the comments.And of cource i will be able to track your progress and comment on your plants!Come on...lets get started!

Thanks Spontcumb...although i wouldnt say excellent cause i expected more but its ok for first time!The cure proccess is still is in progress,and the final test will be done on Monday...that will be a week of cure!I think its ok for so little weed!So,stay tuned for the final smoke report!

Hey Marlo it must be a great feeling to smoke your own grow! I can't wait until I can too! I will be watching out for the rest of your grow. How tall did your SR get? I'm using a pc case that's 18.6d x 8.1w x 26.5h. Do you think you will have to LST some of your babies?

The feeling is awesome man!!!Its really unbelievable!All that years searching for the right weed,paying so much money and the most important...having so much trouble with shity dealers and awfull weeds!Having your home grown weed kicks ass!!!!!
My SR got about 30cm.And it could go a little taller if i had the right lights...leds gave me a really hard time on that grow!Now with full strength on cfls,i hope things will go much better!
I ve seen your journal and i can say you did a nice job with the grow box!I ve got the same pc case,only that is not a grow box!I use it as a pc!
I ve built a pc case too,for a friend and on his first try(with SR) he didnt do so well cause he followed my advise and tried the leds too...of course the results were also bad!He got about 2g of dry weed,which was a really nice smoke!Now he is growing 2 more SRs,a Jock Horror and a Northern Light which are doing much better with the cfls!And he is growing on party caps too!So i will be following your journal to give feedback and make comparison!
About my babies...i dont realy know if i have to LST them,but i will defenitely lst one of them,just to see how will it go!Maybe NLs will need some lst!I havent tried lst yet so i wouldnt like to make any mistake and kill 'em all.So i ll get one experiment at a time!

Thanks dude!Since i didnt have any weed to smoke....i started smoking it some days ago,so now its not much left!Today i bought some skunk from a friend and managed to keep the top of the bud to cure it well and skome it tommorow on the Rockwave Festival(Massive Attack,SkaP,Gogo Bordelo....)!!

I just read through your journal because I'm in the process of growing some short riders under cfl's right now and have a few questions. Hope you don't mind.
How early did you switch to 12/12 and did you flower on that schedule all the way through? My SR's have been on 20/4 light schedule for 6 weeks and are getting pretty big. Thanks! +Rep for a great smoke report!

Well,to be honest i didnt mean to change to 12/12 at all...i was about to keep on 18/6 all the way but i had a non-auto plant(the big one,if you remember) that had to go on 12/12.So i changed it when the SR was about 2 weeks in flower.In didnt see any difference though...12/12 and 18/6 was the same thing for the SR.And of course thats the meaning of autos.It will flower under any light circle!So dont get anxious with the photoperiod!It will flower when the plant wants!!You cant do anything about it than to follow it!

Well YES!!!!The SR has a kick-ass smoke...i just smoked a joint and shit....my head is on the ceiling!!!the difference is huuuuge(since Monday)!!!The taste is stronger,the high is higher,its more celebral...its delicious!!!Too bad i only have 3 or 4 joints left!Guys, i absolutely recommend this seed!!!I will certainly grow SR again!!!

Yea I do remember you saying that you switched to 12/12 because of the other plant. Thanks for the response, I should probably just leave it on 20/4 seeing thats what its been on for almost 7 weeks now. It looks like it should be showing soon, it started showing preflowers around week 4-5 so hopefully it wont be to much longer. There's nothing short about these babies lol..
Thats execlent news marlo! I think you just made my decision of breeding the outdoor plants I have if they turn out to be male and female!! Might as well get some seeds out of it huh.. lol. Enjoy that funk while it last!!

Your decision to go outdoors,is the best thing you can do...!!Sun cannot be replaced ,by no lamp.I ve seen grows with 10000watts and the guy says that nothing can be compared to sun!!!And that is true!The quality and quantity that sun will give you is amazing!!!But i think its more difficult when you go outdoors.When you are indoor you can control the inviroment...but when out...?the conditions will be different!you go by gods will

From what I've seen so far you are absolutely right about outdoors being harder to maintain!! I've had to deal with to much rain and bugs which is enough to give you head ache's thats for sure lol... They are still looking healthy though so I must be doing somehting right
I figured I would leave the 2 original ones outside and start 2 more inside and hopefully be able to compare the difference of the two!!

Lets see what we ve got...6 healthy and promising plants!!!The 2nd grow seems to be going a lot betterthan the first!And of course thats the right way!The growth is faster and the plants are healthier and stronger!Except from the Jock which goes slower but she's fine!
From just a look,i can see the difference in the growth...they re bushier,there are more leaves,there are developing branches(while SR had no branches at the same age) and even one of them is flowering...yes...its flowering!One a carefull look i saw much stronger stems,big fat leaves and branches that start growing like hell!And of course the one with the flowers that really surprised me!
That is the Blue Mystic!Is it preflowers so to keep on with cool lamps,or should i put it aside with warm lapms?thats my problem now but i ll do some research to find out whats going on!If anyone has experience with Auto Blue Mystic,i would appreciate some piece of advice!
Jock is a week younger but the growth is a lot slower than the others.As far as i know,Jock has more Sativa and it needs more time so i dont worry yet!Except from the slow growth,she looks healthy!
The 2 NLs...what can i say about them?Wonderfull plants!I can see why everyone grows them!They are bushy,tall and they are vegging very nice!Leaves and branches are growing everywhere...!Beautifull!!!
The 2 BBLICIOUS are doing well too.They are also vegging nice but no so fast and tall as the NLs.
The nuts i use are still BioBizz FishMix for Veg and FishMix+Bloom for the Flower.I started the first feed with 1.75ml/l of FishMix and the 2nd with 2ml/l.On the first grow,i started with 1ml/l and gradually reached the 3ml/l.And it seemed that she could get more.So now i gave them a bit more to see how will go.If they are ok with more food then i will gradually reach 5ml/l which is the suggested dose of BioBizz.So far so good!I think it goes pretty well and i hope it will go better.Tommorow i will add one more cool cfl so to have a lamp over each plant!
Thats for now.Comments,advice,opinions are all welcome!
