First grow seems to be looking okay. Thoughts?

I’m on day 60. BPP auto’s i reckon I have another 2-3 weeks to go until harvest. What do you guys think?

Looks like it has longer to go than that like 5 wks minimum. They can finish fast but ya wont know until you ask again when most those white hairs turn orange like the rest.

Id update thread in a few weeks and ask again. Nice grow especially for a first timer, looks great!

The plant in question is the middle one (oldest) im unsure whether or not it’s ready to harvest yet. Opinions?

They grew pretty damn fast since you last asked at week 4. 6 wks is typically not enough time it can look done but 9 or 10 wks tends to be the soonest. Ive had a strain go 12 wks. Ive had one go longer due to some stunting.

People have claimed to have done weed at what, 6 or 7 wks? Its rare but ya if you see white hairs on the lowers thats what you would be waiting on right now. I dont really see any but I dont spot them well via photos.

Maybe 2-3 more wks. Could be sooner because wow those turned ripe quick. I wouldnt listen to me though but sometimes I be alright lol.

Yea there is a few white hairs on the very bottom stems, so I’ll wait a bit for those. What about trich indicators? They still look a bit clear imo

I dont check trichs I notice its strain dependant like they say. Some amber before chop some like autos Ive heard and had myself, just stay clear for 12wks flower. I just try to chop when the white hairs stop coming or are like only 1% left which is subjective Id say to put a number on it 12-24 which I should struggle to find.

Ive had 100% orange hairs half the time and its what I try to aim for but 12-24 per plant is my flat rate.

Like have to really get in there and look for it. Ive only grown like 7 strains my whole life, just been running clones for a while. Even they can have different chop dates highly influenced by enviorment. If its too bushy it can take 4 wks longer which I didnt bother doing.

I perpetuate them so I have a schedule. To add to the randomness even with clones, I think aingot a choppable plant a week early. Might figure out how to make that routene. I turn it all to hash so it dont bother me but the smoke was fine, even gave a few oz away.

So idk, clearly you are doing something right, its happy and finishing quick. Unless chopped too early literally like when you first asked Ive never noticed less potency or speedy or couchlock. It all feels the same to me. I think youre close.

Here are some pics of the lower branches

Yea I notice the plants from head to toe grow bud but where to determine the cutoff is up to the grower. The lowest grow slow and finish last typically but is so plump you can add it to the whole stash no seperation. If you prune those up to a certain point those would be gone and it will focus up top.

People say that a lot and I finally see what they mean by that, could take a while to understand. Just dont do what I did once which was chop at 6.5 wks thinking its done because it ripes from top to down but I lollipopped it rediculously and made a super shallow canopy.

So yea the top 1/3rd looked done but had I left 2/3rds when lollipopping I would have lots of white hairs that the last few weeks are typically for. So I got 5pz but could of probably had 6oz all one batch aside from the bottom 1/3rd of the plant that is up to you to leave on.

If you leave it on it can take a while to finish the very bottoms as with indoor leds are super shallow penetrating lights. So those lowers quite literally get like 1ppfd basically nothing. Ive had it finish though 100% but it didnt work out like that the very next time same clones. It did get better when applying what Im describing though finally.

All strains and plants grow differently but similar in some way. Its hard, Im doing a new strain right now in a mini tent but when I do her full siz it wont be perfect by any means for at least 3 runs. Buds up top wont just grow last ditch effort white hairs once the energy is properly redirected and finished so its kind of a cheat Im starting to see between the lines.

I think damn exciting times

Hey guys these are the results from my first grow! BPP is at the bottom i got around 2 oz with that one ( I think i topped a bit too late early on and stunted) but I was also using that plant to try new things like LST,topping so I was expecting a bit of stunting. The Apple strudel however came out with HUGE nugs and that was 100 grams in total after drying. The other BPP is still drying so I'll keep ya updated on that.
