First Grow (Sage n Sour)

Alright, first time ever attempting a grow.
Only had one seed and it turn out female!
I named her Wilby. she's about 4-5 feet tall right now.

Currently on day 43 of Flowering
2700k lights - (2)200 watt equivalent (1)150 watt equivalent
just started with bloom nutes 10-54-10
the plant is healthy but i'm wondering why the nugs are so small...
Vegged for 3 months


Any tips would be appreciated.

Look up CFL PROXIMITY. they gotta be really close to the plant to make big buds. 2nd thing u did wrong was let the plant get to bigg before u flower. to get this girl to fully bud ud need more ligt, so i would suggest next time not lettingthem get that big and keep the number of nodes down to a minimum. for now ur stuck just flush it smoke it and try again. and dont feel bad u didnt nail ur first grow with a qp. My dad says its a younger man who olny plans for things to go right, and a older wiser man that plans for them to go wrong and reflect on his experiences. Sounds like old hippy bullshit but it isnt, if u live in a green state look up classes my work has em all the time.

Damn. So if i were to double the lights today would that make much of a difference in the final 30 days?
Also, how tall do you recommend before switching?
It would have been real nice to know that 2 months ago. I just figured the bigger the better

Looks great. Yes, if u can double the lights u would be happy u did. Sativa's grow like crazy . Also more light would have hindered the vertical growth some. Looks like it stretched a little.

I Still have the veg bulbs laying around, and would like to use those instead of buying new ones. Would that help the flowering having a combo of 2700k and 6000k? or should i stick strictly with the 2700k?

the 6000 has barely any red spectrum so it would be a better route to just use the 2700's i would get at leas 1 more light for those tops! chek out my bloom i have going ..

i usually keep my plants an inch away from my bulbs! works likea charm

because the farther you are from bulb the the more delluted your lemens become..

Okay ill be picking up another light or 3 tomorrow. see how that helps out.

Any answers to why the plant stretched a bit and didn't fill out on the top two stalks after I topped her? It was growing like a bush until i sliced her main vein

So whats the deal with keeping the nodes to a minimum? does the plant have more nutrients to concentrate into each little nugglet then?

Highlife's spot on but your not gonna get anything spectacular anyways at this point. i would do it just so u invest and have them ready for your next grow. but think before u hang everything. you wanna get light 2inchs (if possible) from everywhere on that plant. I usally only veg for 3weeks max but i have a small cabinet. i mainly do autos in it...
don't feel bad its a great grow and looks a lot better taken care of than the average 1st timer. +rep for sure

Hopefully they make a small difference in these tittlebitties.

Trichomes are getting a bit more prominent.. Can I expect them to keep growing and developing in the last month here?
I'm also curious as to a percentage of volume increase I can expect? Or is that subjective to the strain.

I'll probably update every watering or so with some new pics

Second time around here would anyone recommend SCROGin it up, with the cfl's strictly?
