awesome setup for 16 plants. you could grow a lot more than that under there.

trays rather than containers...

very clean clone setup, lik'n the ballast lay out... very well done... you might even place a metal face over that so that the air exhaust above them captures even more of the heat... maybe if they are electronic rather than magnetic it won't matter so much, but magnetics kick off quite a bit of heat. and you might want to use the inline fans to air cool the hoods (if that isn't the setup already) so that the air in the room isn't exhausted so quickly and can be better climate controlled. (EDIT: woops i see it does... but you might want the intake for the hoods to come from outside the room still.)

that screen for scrogging or just support may be too low as well, but i'm not sure by the pictures... how tall will you grow the plants before you flower them? maybe you have some way of raising that... and make sure you cover your reservoirs.

subscribed fo'sho. and good luck w/your medicinal ambitions. i guess ur gonna grow from clones. must be nice liv'in round there. most places you have to start from seed, sex them, clone them, yada, yada

Thanks for the kind words. The inline fans are sucking thru the lights, into carbon filters that are in that box, and extits into the adjacent room. I have 2 intake points: 1 is an existing 2" x 12" slit of chicken wire that I mounted a dual window fan over. The other is just a 6" 90 down turn that just sucks the normally asperated air in. We still have a ton of negative air pressure so we are looking good. I have cover for the resi's. I will post more pics. Thanks for the subscribe. This is my first grow so please at any time give me suggestions, tips, critsisim, or just a kind work. Thanks again.

couple more recent ones:

The 6" 90 has a small length of tubing to it because without it ( I found) reflects a bunch of lite into the room, kink cuts down about 90 percent of the light, eventually I am putting the smaller of the 2 inline fans I have blowing into my carbon filters on the 6 in 90, and replacing the one off the carbon filter to match the stronger one thats all ready there. We should be moving some serious air thru this space.

Anyone know if I need to add some CO2 supplement to this room. The dimentions are 17x12x9 and am running (2) 350 cfm inline fans sucking out, (1) dual window fan 70 cfm each fan, and what ever the 90 air inlet naturally sucks in... I have no idea how much that is.

Frist screen is a tight pattern, at 7 1/2 inches about the medium, the second is a wide spread pattern at about 14 inches.

Very nice mi friend. If you wanna go with CO2 then I think you'd be better off with a propane/natural gas burner for your setup, cuz otherwise you'll be spendin some dough on tank refills. Granted a burner will be a fairly expensive initial investment, but i think it pays for itself in the long run.

If you go w/ co2 you should run fresh air through your lights and out of the room thru your existing fans. Eliminate air intakes creating a sealed enviroment. Get an ac unit large enough to cool your space and a dehumidifier. A great by product of both of these appliances is they omit clean PH neutral water to use for irrigation. Get yourself a decent co2 ppm meter and shoot for about 1500 ppm only during the daylight cycle, most meters have photoelectric eye to shut down co2 at night. Use only an exhaust fan to evacuate excessive heated or humid air in those instances when things gets to hot for your eqpmt. to keep up.Growers using the sealed room methods claim yield increase of 30%. Good Luck.

Hard to believe its ur first grow... looks 100% professional. That screen setup should work well enough if you are only vegging for a couple weeks after cloning and then flowering them right away. If it were me i'd put 36 plants under there... 9 per light. Otherwise, i wouldn't change a thing. Lik'n the plastic over the hygroton as well. I'd further seal up the tops of the reservoirs as well (w/o making it too much harder to get the lids on and off).

good to see you've already got some ladies going. what nutes are you using?

I have a 6 plant per person limit because I have my lisence to grow in California.

I am using GH nuts micro, bloom and grow. This is just over 2 weeks under 18/6. They were pretty much just rooted clones too.
