Hello. I'm attempting my first grow. I think I have pretty much everything I need to get started. Please give me any feedback and let me know what I did wrong. Thanks in advance.
I made this area in my garage available.
I decided on a 30"w x 22"d x 36"h clone box. I used a wood frame, and panda film to enclose it. It's using a 2' 2 lamp T5 w/ veg lights. I figured it wouldn't be getting too hot in there so I have 2 PC fans, the intake down low on one side, and the exhaust up high on the other. The light doesn't seem very bright, is this good enough for the cloner?
I am using a single room to veg/flower. If this works out and I actually get a harvest in the end and I'm confident in my abilities I will make a separate veg room. This is constructed the same as the clone box with lumber and panda film. (I know I should have just bought a tent but this was only $50 in materials for both). It is 48"l x 44"w x 96"t. It is going to have a 54 gallon tote aeroponic setup that takes up half of the room. I'm going to try 10 plants in that and then the other half of the room will have 6 plants in 3lb grow bags with ocean forest. I'm going to see I feel is easier and better suits / produces for me, the aeroponic setup or soil.
Again I went with the same intake / exhaust style. In down low on one side, out high on the other side (through the light, its not sealed).
Here is where the exhaust exits the room and then the house.
Here is the StinkBud Aerocloner that I made for the clone box. Is the light too far away from it? It sucks how the net pots don't sit flush because of the shape of the lid. Hopefully it doesn't matter.
Here is where the 2 are in relation to each other.
So let me know what things I've done wrong here. It's my first time so be a little easy on me.
Also I have a bunch of these little guys, XJ13 and Jack Herrer, sprouted in some BS potting soil I had around. I would like to try to wash the soil off and put them in the neoprene collars into the cloner. Is this a possibility or are they too fragile at this point and I'll kill them all?
Thanks for reading this.
