First Grow, ready to harvest?

I hate to say it but I'm gonna have to second @Lordhooha and say you should trash that plant. It got way to close to the light and it's just not worth the time and effort at this point. Don't sweat it though, my first grow didn't go well either.

Funny enough that SunSystem and the M3 soil are what my local hydro store keep pushing on me. The SunSystem is a 315 CMH I believe. Think it comes with a Philips 3500k bulb is I remember correctly. I did get talked into trying the M3 soil as well and agree with the others, it's garbage. The guys at the shop claimed you could grow all the way through with it and just add a little Papa's Perfect Poop a week into flowering. They were full of shit. I used it for one grow and will never use it again. I dumped the leftovers in my garden.

How big is your tent? Honestly, my advice would be to read as much as you can and find grow logs using a setup similar to yours and try to copy them.

If you disagree, say why. Otherwise there's absolutely no value to your disagreement.
This is what I disagree with.
You're going to need some good clippers for pruning if you want to harvest this plant anyway, so there's really no excuse for not removing dead foliage.

And I may be mistaken, but a "hot" soil means it's loaded with nitrogen. You would still benefit from other fertilizers and additives, like cal-mag (probably want to use one low in Nitrogen, like CALiMag, as you already have plenty), a flower booster (low N, high P-K), micronutrients, and carbohydrates if you want to see good results.
For you to recommend ^^^ this to a plant in apomixis shows you have no understanding of growing, yet. As for breaking it down I can't explain to you what you lack in experience.

Why don't you tell me why you think his plants need a Ca/Mg supplement?

Damn man, you gotta groom your plants every few days. I take dead leafs off my plants everyday, looking at that plant literally hurts i just feel like using a hair clipper on it. Did you say 15% humidity? that is wayyyy low aim for 60% during veg and like 45% during flower.

Ah, I see your misunderstanding. You seem to think I was speaking of the instant case, rather than of terminology and materials in general. If you'll kindly read for once the comment you've dutifully copy-pasted several times now, I'm sure you'll see your error.

See? Aren't you glad you stated your objection plainly? Now you're up to speed. :-)

Honestly never mind all that cal mag stuff, just concentrate on giving your plants good humidity, temperature and basic NPK nutes. If your grow light is weak use it efficiently try to Low stress train your plants at least top them to get even light coverage. I think worst thing you can do is try to get too fancy on first grow, start by nailing basics. By the way my first grow also.

That's not the really meaning of "hot" and you really shouldn't be advising growers to add bottled nutrients to a soil that already heavily amended.

This is a discussion of the instant case and not growing in general. If you wish to lecture on Botany I suggest you pursue that in the educational system.

My point stands. Try not to take it too personally.

Hi All,

First time grower and poster, So I started the flowering stage of this plant on the 19th of December, went on vacation....a friend was suppose to keep up the watering for me but did not.....leaves turned brown and styarted to fall off but the buds still look ok, once i started watering again its coming back to life, question is its been flowering for over a month now and the buds don't seem ready to harvest yet or is it just me? maybe cus of the lack of watering while I was away it needs more time? thanks for any help.

Hey man, it sounds like you're getting the gist from other people in here, but I'll just add to the fire. You're not going to get anything good from that plant. If you're adventurous, strip it and blast it to see if anything comes off. But I would start over again.

The light you have is a quality HID. I would keep that for sure, and then just read up on some of the basics and give it another try. I agree with the other posters tho and that plant is a loss. You will just waste more time and money trying to salvage it then it is worth
