First Grow Questions?

I am going to start my first grow very soon i am just a few questions away;

1. If i start with clones (from a friend) in a propagator and grow from that and harvest at the end of grow and then buy more clones from a friend will it work?

2. i have a 250 HPS light and i was was wondering what kind of floor space that would handle, the kit came with 3 plant pots but i already have a 80cm x 40cm NFT tray which i think i can get 4 plants in, is this ok or do i need smaller?

3. i have Vitalink Max grow and vitalink max bloom and i was wondering what other nutes i need as a essential? do i need vitalink plant start etc?

4. The room i have free is about 150cm x 400cm (it is hidden so i can be drilling holes through it into other rooms with big tubes coming through, i was wondering how i would get away with ventilating the room etc. i will have a self standing fan in the room.

Sorry but im a complete n00b and am doing my first grow from complete research, i have several close friends who have done it before and will lend me a hand so i should hopefully survive.

go buy a 250wt mhbulb if you can runit in your hps ballast no problems, that will be better. i do all the time.

first whats a propagator

1. if you have plenty of light any plant will grow.

2. always remember that the more plants you have growing the more light you will need. a 250hps light will cover a space between 3 x 3 ft and up to 4 x 4 ft. but 3 x 3 is optimal.

3. in most nutes theres always a threesome of nutes, one for grow, one for flowering, and one for boost (usually). i use foxfarms triple pack of grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and those have worked great for me. but its up to your preference of nutes.

4. from your demensions i take it your grow room is about 10+ft high, x ft wide, and 5 ft deep. your hps light can take you from seedling to the end of flowering. but personally i use a t5 light for germinating to seedling, a 250 wt mh for vegging, and a 400 hps light for flowering. so really you just have to find your preference and you have to decide on how long you wanna veg em and big you want them to grow. remember the rule of thumb. if your flower at 6 inches it will finish at around 18 inches. whenever you start to flower your plant it will grow 3x in height. good luck hit me up with any other questions
