First grow pics!!! kinda a time lapse...

Newbie grower here. Had a spider-mite problem with some donated plants and got rid of em. Noticed a few on the new ones and did em in with some Mighty Wash and soap. Worked great. Also had a donated plant with root aphids and got rid of those with G-Gnats....Did a root soak overnight. Water heavily/flush the next day no signs any more. Got some neem just in case. Have 1 more root flush to do and another coat of mighty wash just in case. I water every 3 days about. Thats when the soil starts to dry up. Keep a temp of 84 lights on and 73 lights off. Humidity is always near 50%. Using a 1,000 HPS and 2 40' CFL to supplement with the other spectrums. Seems to be going good. Got these clones at 5 weeks old and 8" tall. It's been 2-1/2 weeks and they have really taken off. I use a super soil called BUD=Best Urban Dirt. It's kinda a shortgun mix with a premium on the bottom and a less potent version on top. I plan on doing the tie-down technique to maximize growth. My room is 8 x 10 about painted white. Light has to be up at least 36" from the plants or the heat get about 90 degrees and root level. Luckily got a 7' ceiling in here. I'm going to eventually get a air conditioner installed or run an intake vent through the attic. Either way it'll be after harvest. Need $$. Medical grow BTW, fully compliant.

Btw....I'm planning on using the Maui plant as a mother solely to take clones from. The calyx's look beautiful!!!!


Also. I'm planning on using an agressive feeding schedule at flower time. I need to gradually apply it due to the soil already having nutes in it. For my next grow I'm going to get a 1,000 watt metal halide for VEG. As they grow I'll spread em out and tie the 2 lower sets of branchs down so they can form cola's with the offshoots or whatever. Been watching this lady on youtube and she says u can double+ your yield. Worth a shot me thinks.


ALSO. The little runt that isnt growing fast is my godbud clone. He had the root aphids. They gone now and she's coming back. She already has a dank smell at 12". None of my other plants have the mkinda smell this plant has. Crazy.


I'll be vegging another 3-4 weeks unless someone can convince me theres no point in waiting that long...

I use a bucket in a bucket system. The upper buckets have 16 holes in the bottom. The lower buckets which is my extra water catcher have holes in the top that allow the water to evaporate and help with my real dry humidty(plus....They make it so you dont have to move lights as much, i plan on using a typical kids pool once they get tall enuff). I use 2-3" of 3/4" rocks at the bottom, 1-2" of 1/4" rocks on that, then my premium nute packed dirt about 2/3, then the normal nute packed soil for the top 1/3. Seems to be a good setup so far. I'll keep posting follow up pics!
