First Grow OG Kush Clone T5 Grow

Ok here we go....I just looked at my plants like I always do and now have noticed the pre-flower pistils. It has not been 2 complete weeks since I first planted the clones. I am sure glad I got to use clones instead of seeds because for a first time grow I get to see things develop even faster than I could even imagine. Glad to know the girls are mature and don't have to worry about force flowering.

Just made my first attempt at FIMming my plants. Hopefully I did it correctly. This is my first grow so let's see what happens. This will be the only time I do this and hopefully I get the 4 colas and am able to produce more bud.

I did it today because the upcoming Tuesday will be 2 weeks and I plan on flowering at 4 weeks. Not sure if this is possible but maybe someone can help me out with a lil insight. I have read it can take a plant 2 weeks to heal but I obviously have no personal experience with it. Also the next time I water it is only going to be pure H2o as I don't want to mess something up by over nuting and stressing the girls.

Gave the girls a drink. They sure are sucking up the everything I give em pretty quick. Hopefully where I fimmed will show new growth so that I can take some pics of it.

Ok....I wanted to take some pictures of the FIM growth but the plant is far too bush right now so its hard to tell the FIM new growth as compared to the normal new growth although I can see where I did the FIM on one of the branches. The growth is too full and thick to take a good enough pic even when I try to pull back the leaves.

Anyways I gave the girls a drink with a little Big Bloom and a lil Grow Big. I gave them well under the labeled dosage and I'm talking way less than half maybe even less than a 3rd. I think OG strains may be sensitive to nutes from what I have read so I made sure to give them just a lil bit.

Tomorrow is the start of week 3 for the girls so I will 99% have new pics up tomorrow afternoon when I get home from work.

Ok today is the official day after the start of week 3.

The girls are looking great. So many nodes so close together and a ton of growth. As you can see in a couple pics the female pistils are showing.

I'm going to call this batch "Felony OG"

lookin good brother...when u planning on flowering?

I'm planning on 4 weeks veg. I Fimmed the girls and want to give 2 weeks for the new growth and the plant to be 100%. I also want to be able to take a few good clones. I'm thinking 4 weeks all adds up unless I get some serious growth spurts. I keep the lights no more than 2" from the tops of the plants so they stay short and compact. The only thing that will keep me from waiting 4 weeks is if the plants start to go crazy for some reason.

Got up today and gave the girls a fresh drink of H2O with no nutes added.

Have you flowered with your t5 in the past? Got any pics?

I have never done a flower before. I have never even vegged before. I have never taken clone cuttings or Fimmed a plant before. I have never cured or harvested or smoked anything that I have grown.

Everyone gets to along for the ride with me and see what happens. When I take cuttings I will be posting all of that as well with my results all the way to the finish. Other than the actual smoking of the flowers people will be involved the whole way.

One thing I am a professional at is smoking weed. I consider myself to be someone who only smokes good bud so I am trying to grow something that I would be proud to smoke with even the most discerning experienced smoker.

So if anyone wants to know how good their product is ship some to me and I will let you know how good it is.

Ive got a 4 tube fixture but I only use it for seedlings and clones. My dad and his girl friend are ex-hippies and are getting into weed smoking again after 40 years. She got a recommendation for nerve damage and they want a little grow so I told them about t5's but Ive never acctually seen what they can do in flower. I just imagined she would buy little vegged clones from me and pack as many of those under an 8 tube as possible. I have ne idea what my strains would do if flowered that small as I grow big plants. I would also imagine having good genetics would also give you a good yield. Its just a matter of finding a strain that performs well under t5's.

well after this we will know how this OG performs. i have seen t5 grows but not as short and compact as this one with so many nodes so close together. not sure what the flower stretch will be but only time will tell.

Update: Gave the girls a nice drink. I will only feed with virgin H2O until my first day of flower in a week and a half.
