Bigger is always better. If your choice is 3G or 5G, go 5G.
Also, Only put one plant per container. You'll always have someone tell you that you can put more then transplant or whatever. They are dumb.
One plant, One container.
Would an 5 gallon hempy fit in my tent with that strain? or even an 8 gallon?

If I'm reading your tent size correctly you should be able to fit 3-6 5G pots at a time or 3-4 7-10G pots.
Its 1 meter x 1 meter base and 2 meters high.
