- Stem split

- Phytoplasma?

DETAILS:
- Strain: Game Time
- Germinated: 7/12
- Height: tallest branches circled ~3' (from ground)
- Light: ViparSpectra XS1500 Pro 150W (2024)
- Cycle: 18/6 outdoor daylight, LED in evenings
- Incoming tent size: Mars Hydro 2.3'x2.3'x5'
- Exhaust: AC Infinity 4" S4 + carbon filter kit
CONTEXT:
4 days ago I noticed main stem splitting due to overlooking ties, but I bandaged back together with electrical tape and a few zip ties. No issues days later.
I'd like to attempt flowering a couple smaller plants at the same time but I understand that might not be possible given my setup.
ISSUES:
Due to my inexperience, I'm not confident I'll have enough space to flower her.
I'm trying to mitigate running out of real estate and want to top the two branches I've circled but I'm concerned about the weight of said branches as she moves into flower.
If I top the two tallest branches that are coming off the main stem split, will it heal enough to support the weight of flowering or should I avoid promoting more growth on those branches?
If additional topping isn't advisable in this situation, are there any other suggestions on how to control/slow vertical growth other than leaf tucking and using garden wire?
In a dire situation, I could just prune the longest branches, but I'd be removing a main bud site, right (i.e. not advisable if preventable)?
Additionally, I noticed what looked to be, black mold that turned out to be purple upon closer inspection (see images).
After some preliminary research, I'm under the impression this might be a sign of a phytoplasma infection brought on by leaf hoppers, I've been killing on sight.
Although, I'm unsure if this might just be a sign of other stress, deficiency or genetics.
Any constructive criticism and other tips are appreciated, thanks in advance!
