So im growing in botanicares readygro mix (50/50 coco/perilite), Im using 2 23 watt cfls for the grow about 2-3 inches away from the plant tops, using plain tap water ph'd to 6.3 6.4 and the ppm are about 180 in my tap. I do have a small fan blowing on them also. Their 10 days old from sprout and the temps are never above 83 or below 65 its around 70-78 90% of the time.

Now for my problems which i hope you can see in the pics. The leaves seem to be getting kinda yellowish and the edges of my leaves are curling up. there are also some small brown tips on one of them, they still seem to be growing pretty good but i know somethings up with the leaves. Its coco so might it be a cal/mag problem? or is it early for that? Too hot? Want to fix this before it gets any worse. or am i just being freaked out by nothing and over loving them. Any help would be great thanks!:confused:015.jpg016.jpg014.jpg018.jpg017.jpg

i moved the light away to about 6-7 inches now. How fast do they recover from something like that once fixed?

U said this is ur first grow? For beginners normal soil and water is wat u shud start with for the first few grows. Also, ur using 6500k lights right?

yes im using 6500 lights. I did some research and coco didnt seem that much more difficult to me thats why i decided to go with it. My plants are now starting to get a few brown spots on a couple of the leaves and one plant has brown tips.

I personally wud attempt a transplant to some regular potting soil, and feed with plain water for about 2 weeks. The coco may be too hot for the seedling, thus stunting growth.
