Spray em all. Any that came even close to the assimilated one are probably under attack.Use a weak solution on the real small ones and watch em close. It usually takes a few days before you see any damage, so act now. The Borg don't play.

Dude, you have got to get in there and spray until your hand cramps, then switch hands until that one cramps and repeat until they are soaked top and bottom with a 1tsp/quart solution of neem oil. Note this is preventative and wards off bugs that might spread to your virgin babies, but neem oil will not kill mites! For the plant that is infested with mites, immediately quarantine it, and do the following dunk procedure to make sure you get all the bugs! Mix up some pyrethrin based insecticide in a five gallon bucket with water nearly to the brim. Hold the soil tight in your pot as if you were about to transplant, and then dunk the entire plant into the water upside down, such that it is completely submerged for 10 seconds. This will fuck the mites world up, and ensure you hit every square millimeter of every leaf surface! If you have had mites in your grow room for a few days without jumping on it, its likely they have already spread and you may want to invest an entire day in dunking all of your plants, and re-sanitizing your grow area...I hate to even say that shit man sorry...
Good luck, and ACT NOW, this shit is serious...I have been brought to tears as mites got to enjoy dozens of lovely chocolope ladies, and they weren't even mine!

i found those no pest strips from home depot to work pretty good after using neem oil for a while. I had two in a 3x4 room and they were gone in a couple weeks. You should leave them in for a while so the eggs can hatch and they can die too. But im subbing to this you got a lot of lights man. GL with these bugs.

k so i edited this post, and i am a bit of a tool i will admit, i thot they were gone cuz there wasnt any damage but they had spread like expected. i couldnt see them at first then i noticed the black ones and the eggs, i guess i just like to always learn the hard way what can i say.. i took everything out from under the 400watt and stuck them outside cuz its pretty cold right now and i will spray them down tomorrow in the shade. im taking down the 1000watt MH and giving it to a friend to veg everything from under the 400watt. then im flowering a couple plants and some new clones under the 1000watt HPS and veg. a few nicely picked moms under the 400watt on a light mover. then create a cycle. will post pics when finished.

those spider mites are no fucking joke i would toss all your plants and all your soil. get some pyrethrum bombs and bomb the shit out of your room. remove anything that is not essential to your grow from the grow area. i might even rip up that carpet and throw it away. then scrub everything with a strong bleach solution then bomb again then clean again. if i was you i would sterilize (not just sanitize) your room and all the equipment twice. this is the only way to be sure that you will not be fighting the mites for a long time to come. cut your losses and toss whatever you have now. it will save you many a headache down the line. also when you are don i would try to seal the rooms cracks and crevices as well as you can.

my advice is to scale down, learn the plant first. Then scale up...you are wasting a lot of time and money here :/

either way, good luck
ya i kind of jumped the gun on that one, i had the nutrients, i had the lights, and i had the seeds so i went veg. crazy lol

ya im trying to clean everything up now, i have some doktor doom spray for the cracks and some other stuff to spray on the plants, i guess i'll throw those no pest strips up again too, cant hurt.. and ive bin checking all the big plants regularly, i have 8 new clones and 8 big plants in the room now so still lots that can get fucked up.

going to spray everything down tonight when the lights go off.. the problem with my room is its so big and i am using soil, so there is dust everywhere! i might cover up the containers so there isnt so much exposed to being blown around.

my honest advice is to trash everything and do a VERYYYYYY thorough cleaning. you may even have to replace the carpet.

If you do decide to go forward, prepare for the biggest headache ever.

Mites have several life cycles. No one product will kill the mites in ALL phases of life. so you MUST go back and spray shit down every 2-3 days. Not only that, you will probably want to alternate products you use as they mites grow an immunity towards insecticides very very quickly. Mites are a bitch, and you will never be rid of them unless you do a full clean down. I promise you this.

Mites reproduce on a 3-5 day schedule. You must spray every 4 days , 4-5 times. Change up the poison as much as possible. Each time if you can. Doctor Doom(Pyrethrum), Organocide(sesame oil), Dish soap all work well. You can even soak a couple cigarettes in a pint of water for a day or two and use that. Be careful though, Nicotine is a dangerous poison in high concentrations when airborne.
Ninja's advise is valid. I just can't afford a total system abort.

ya same i havent flowered anything and ive bin vegging forever for a big harvest/ create a cycle.. i already thru out 20 plants! there is still mites of course so like i said i sprayed everything down last night, should i spray them down with water everytime after in between insecticides etc.? i dont want the plants to get burned from the light.. i dont have carpet either, thank god! if worst comes to worst then im going to flower everything then start all over again. what i would like to do is out of the 8 clones and 8 big plants to keep atleast one big plant.. get rid of everything else, clean everything over and start a SOG cycle.

those fuckin mites just had to EFFF everything up! ugh, just when i was getting everything down pat too.

If you spray thoroughly, on schedule, you should be able to carry on till harvest. They are damn near impossible to get rid of, but you can keep em under control. Just stay on top of it. I spray neem oil once a week even if I don't see any bugs. Every now and then I use Organocide just change it up since bugs can develop resistance to a pesticide.
It wouldn't hurt to wash em down after the cycle is complete. If you wash em between applications it wont be as effective.
Make sure you raise the lights till they dry out. About an hour or so should do it.
