First grow... Miracle gro style (what can I say?LOL)

This is my first grow, so I was worried about putting my self out there. But fuck it!!!!

Here is my first grow.


:leaf: Sativa Bagseed
:leaf:50% Miracle Gro potting soil, 25% Sterilite, 25% seed starter soil
:leaf:Miracle Gro for veg
:leaf:Miracle Gro Bloom Booster for flower
:leaf: 2x T5, 2x T12 (gro-lux) and 4x T12 (3100k)
:leaf:Window A/C unit, 20" oscilating fan and oscilating air purifier.




Here is the first set of pics from about 3 weeks. They were in a closet 3x3 with 4' floros (Vertical Set up). Now the 4 fems are in the 3rd week of flower in the attic. Flower pics coming soon!!!

That's not a setup to be ashamed of but everyone will suggest you get some type of HID light in there. The flouro's will get you through veg while they're small and you can keep an eye on ebay/craiglist for a suitable sized cheap hps or halide. Maybe a warehouse light or whatever you can swing. I am not saying this to diss your grow just that a lot of people who use flouro tubes like that for flowering end up quickly dissapointed, often giving up growing entirely thinking it's too much work for too little reward. It only can be if you flower with flouro's and then expect a good yield like others get with better lighting. Maybe yours are better than shoplight flouro's but they aren't better than a $25-$50 used hps/halide that's the proper size for your area. Just my 2 cents.

MG soil and the nutes you have will grow fine bud, don't sweat that.

Lastly the words but, and fuck, seem better with a comma in between them in this case. :)

plants are looking real nice.
looks like u have abit of the MG burn on some of your leaves also. its alright just water abit less.

I love the results from HID... I found a cheap 600w HPS/MH @ HTG for next grow!

Yeah that damn Miracle Gro! You don't have enough control with it.:wall: Also about the watering... I started watering every 2-3 days now, and I have a good humidity of 55% - 60%.

Very nice looking plants. Im more interested to see how your next grow go's with that 600w hps since your doing really well with the florescent bulbs.

Thats a nice looking grow. I dont do indoor myself anymore but you have everything under control.About the M/G I think it makes your final product a bit harsh all the chemicals are difficult to flush out.Best of luck with your grow.

watch out for the 3100k(closer to green light), wont help you too much...try for the 6500k(closer to Blue) for veg, and the 2700k(closer to red) for flower if possible when using flouros or cfl's.
