First Grow - Lowlife Auto AK47 **PICS**

Well, this isn't exactly a grow journal because I didn't document everything from the beginning...

Either way, these are my Lowlife Auto AK47 plants. I started with 10 seeds, 9 of which germed,
and 5 of those were female. Not too shabby.

They were grown inside a DR120 under a Sunlight Supply 400w HPS. I used an EYE MH conversion
bulb for the first 3 weeks, then switched to EYE Super HPS. Lighting was on a 20/4 schedule the whole
time. Ventilation was a Vortex fan hooked to an aircooled hood with a charcoal filter on the other side.
Temps were always within 75-80 with lights on.

This was a soil grow, using FFOF mixed 70/30 with FF Light Warrior. Nutes were FF Grow Big for the
first 4 weeks, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom for the remaining period.

Flowering began at about 3 weeks, and really started exploding at around 5 weeks. Shown here, I think
they only have about a week or two left to go. They slowed down, then a couple days ago started putting
on more flowers again and fattened up like crazy.

More pics to come after this. Please feel free to ask questions or give opinions.

Enjoy.

Thanks lehua! I'm expecting at least 1oz from each plant, if not closer to 1.5-2oz from the fatter ones.
Of course, I'll let you all know the final dry weight once I chop 'em.

The first pic only has 4 plants, the second has all five. The middle one was tall and lanky and I tied it
down. It has had problems all throughout the grow, with the edges of the leaves curling. It still looks
like it's going to yield a nice amount though!

Very nice... i my self doing a Auto flowering..(Lowryder Dwarf Mix) they are 5 1/5 weeks old ... im also doing with FFOF...how much nutes did you start with dosage that is???

LAX, I started off with about 1/4 nute strength (1/2 teaspn/gal). After that I gradually upped it every time until I got to full strength.
Check the feeding schedule on Fox Farms website, it's pretty good to go by, but you'll need to shorten it considerably
since we're dealing with autoflowering plants.

I feed them every other watering. When I first started I only watered maybe every 4 days. By week 6
I was watering every other day because they needed more. I always mix in Big Bloom in
the same container, both when using Grow Big and when using Tiger Bloom. It doesn't have much
N-P-K, it's more of the micro nutrients I think. Either way the plants love it. Take a look at the feeding
schedule on the website. It' won't steer you wrong.

It goes something like 2 tsp Tiger Bloom and 1 Tblsp Big Bloom per gallon, both mixed in the same gallon.
That's full strength of course. I measured using a syringe ~5 ml = 1 tsp ~14ml = 1 Tblsp

Yea, Tiger Bloom is needed during flower because of the higher P rating. Grow Big 6-4-4 Tiger Bloom 2-8-4
I mix the Big Bloom with both of them every time. It has low NPK values and more or less help the plants to
absorb the other nutrients I believe. Either way, it has alot of good things in it and I've seen the difference in
using with and without.

You should definitely invest in some pH up/down and a good meter. I keep my water around 6.5
Thankfully these auto-flowering plants are pretty forgiving and can take some abuse from my mistakes.

Nice bud dude. I'm doin auto ak's got 10, 9 germinated but only 3 were female and I damaged two of them early on and they are quite small now. I have grown under 24 hour light from seed with 150W CFL 2700/7000K and three 20W CFL's. I have pretty much the same results as you on my big plant, looks like at least an O now. I've been feeding it full strength Canna Flores from 3 weeks and giving it double strength canna bloom since first hairs. I mix it all up and give the plant 200-400 mls every day. It is defo the biggest autoflower I have ever seen... so bushy.

The top bud looks ready to harvest, most of the hairs have turned amber but the buds lower down still look very immature, Do you have that problem? So hard not to harvest early, think you still have a few weeks left at least.

Have 5 feminized lowryders just sprouted this week but they are stretchin coz the light is too high coz of the big plant.

I had grown the lowryder auto dwarf mix. 10 seeds, 7 germed,3 males. everything I have read says not to give nukes to autos, but I guess you proved that wrong. I wasn't going to bother with autos again because of the yield. I'm not a seller, but if I am going to put so much time into something I'd like a better yield. Love the smoke, great high and taste. Now I will try again, just follow your lead. Big mahalo from 96734, aloha

Fatstar, I've got the same situation with my top buds looking close to finish and the very lowest ones looking
immature. I don't think there's much to be done about that, but the main cola and all of the satellite buds should
more than make up for it. The satellite buds on each of the branches look like about 1/8 each!

LAX Skunky and MAc DRe, thanks for the kind words, and the rep! I really do like the FF nutes, but I might try
something different next time just to compare.

Big Mahalo, aloha and thanks for stopping by! The autos definitely benefit from the nutes. I had a couple problems
along the way but they still turned out nice, and I think the Auto AK47 is the bushiest of the autos. They definitely
finish fast, about 10 weeks from seeds to weed, and I can't wait to try these.
