what kind of lights are you using? the plant looks very healthy, but stretched... either starving for more light or (gulp) you might have yourself a dreaded male there.

amazingly enough its under one CFL - one of the red spectrum 2700K. ahh dont say its a male, hopefully its just stretched like stretch armstrong. member those? haha. man i really appreciate the tip man.....I need to get more light i know, but im a very low budget college student. I've read that HPS is the way to go, but im still lookin for the right deal on eBay. once again, i appreciate the tip, happy herbage..........................do u think setting up two desk lamps on either side would help the stretch?...because i just have an overhead light on it right now

forget the desktop incadescent bulbs... you need 82 of them to equal the output of 1 HPS. For the money I would recommend getting some T5 HO fluro's. They're pretty cheap, don't use much for electricity and can produce a good crop

Yo

I'm curious about fertilizers. I've been told that you should keep the ratio 2-1-1 but i can't find anything like that. Anybody have any ideas??? thanks

PLANT FOOD: Your plants will need supplemental food other than what is in the soil, so buying supplemental nutrients is a very good idea. For the sprouting stage you do not truly need food unless you want to baby your plants. If you do, the sprouting stage requires a NPK'S ratio of approximately 12-8-12. NPK'S stands for Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium. These are the basic nutrients required by plants, and most plat foods have other added nutrients, that the makers feel improve plant growth. For your growth stage you will need food with a NPK'S ratio of about 15-5-5 and in the flowering stage of 10-30-10.

this is what im goin off of mate, peace

what i would do if u are having a hard time with nutes is just use tomato food until u figure out good amounts

ok cool, right now my nutrient supplier is Canadian Tire and i've seen all those ratios your talking about, i just didn't know if they would rape my plant with a nutrient OD. My plant actually died a week ago before she saw any buds. I grew it in a medium that was 2 parts soil : 1 part Perlite : 1 part Vermiculite and it had an evergreen fert. with an NPK ratio of 5:2:2. My plant was healthy until my fuckin dog ate some of the median and ended up biting the stalk like 4 mm above the soil. is this fertilizer ok? thanks
