[FONT=&quot]How does everyone feel about this list? Too ambitious? Not comprehensive enough? I rounded everything up so this is the most costly everything will be. And I would also like to know if any of the above items have great substitutes or can be found cheaply anywhere as the total is $1560 and I would like to cut that down to $1000? Any other advice would be helpful and you can critique anything I have written or if the proportions of lighting to tent or if any flowering or vegging nutes will work better and cheaper. Any advice is of great help. Thanks. :joint:

If it were me I might spend a bit more on seeds and a bit less on all the other stuff (or just spend a little less on stuff). Its your first grow and I know you want to get it all right but that's down to experience and care as much as buying all the right equipment. Like 60 bucks for Bud Ignitor I think you can do without.

I tend to agree. For a first grow you have quite a list of items there, and its more than likely it will make things harder for yourself until you get more experience. The last thing you want to do is spend a lot of money like that, and spend your first year pulling your hair out trying to get it figured out. The big one I would suggest is eliminate all those nutrients and just go with a simple 2 part nute combo, one for veg and one for flower. Get a quality ph meter, so that will probably be more than $15. Also I might suggest doing without a dedicated clone/veg area until you get situated with a flowering chamber and have all the kinks worked out, then you can expand. On the other hand if you have a buddy or two who have real experience growing and can help you along the way, and the money isn't too big a deal....then go for it. Either way good luck. :blsmoke:

Thank you for your replies. I can agree with cutting down the nutes for saving cost, but if I were to keep them, will it really complicate things all that much? it seems that you just take measurements of the items and cycle them through, eliminating one for the other during certain weeks of growth. What am I not getting here?
