Really hav ing trouble with clawing which look like an overwater situation. That sure to grow keep to much water on them but it also is happening with the plants I switch to hydrotron and rock-wool. Back the water schedule back to 3 x day and see what that does. My Bubbleponics system was planted a week later and is 1 1/2x the size.

Ph is 5.9 to 6.1. Don't think thats the problem. It's just very droopy and the leaf surface is raised. I mist on a regular bases.

Unless you are foliar feeding I suggest against misting your plants
If you are using real lights (HID) than you will get burns on your plants from the light being magnified onto one spot on the leaf causing it to burn

Just have 6 - 42 watt 5000k cfl's so no problems there. Spots aren't the problem. You think mixing up a batch of foliar using 1/4 strength nutes would help with the clawing/raised leaves?

Humidity is 55-60%. Room temp is mid 70's and res is high 60's.. All those numbers are in line. Bubbleponics system is breezing along and on it's 5th node and was planted 8 days after the tubes and they seem to be stuck at the 4th node.

I did major surgery today as I was convinced that the sure to grow was the problem. It holds moisture in the last inch and never dries a bit. Cut the STG off along with about half the roots and replaced with hydrotron. So far no wilt or any evidence of shock. I'm using quality genetics and that may be my saving grace . . . I hope.

Res change due this weekend.

Yes in the bp they do sit the water but the netpot is suspended above the tank an inch or two and the roots grow into it as they see fit keeping the crown high and dry. When I whack a male I usually take half the roots of the plant next to it and it hardly even notices. This morning still no signs of stress and one plant has improved dramatically. This is all experimental to me so I look at this as a lesson learned. Never use STG in E&F.

I understand about your concern but it happens to various sites from time to time. There may have been another reason why they were looking at that guy and this was just a trigger.

Letting my plants settle in and hit them with a res change tomorrow and see how they like it. Bumping up to 1/2 nutes. Slow nuting this grow as I learn. You can only drive as fast as your brakes will let you.

I think they look great! Looks like they could benefit from some cal-mag. I see a little leaf curl and when I see that it tells me to add more. I add a little in veg until I see signs that it wants more. Also when mine get to flower they crave it but remember I am dealing with tap water. Otherwise outstanding! Flat as they are you can get a lot of bud!

raised veins on the foliage generally means its too hot and too humid..They tryng to release moisture and cant,so the veins rise.
