Your lights are wronggg.Anyways get those out of there go buy a $8 48 inch florescent shop light at wal mart or home depot and get it right at the plants leaves no more then an inch away. It will stop that stretching and be better for your plants. You can get away vegging with 2 of these shop lights but need to get real lights when ready to flower.at least 250 hps but 400 would be much beter. Then next grow use the hps for veg after 2 weeks of shop lights. They need light as they are obviously stretching and searching for it which makes weak stems and bad yields

I think he was just trying to help. We can go on and on about how cfl's are just fine, and you know what your absolutely right. As long as your fine with the finished product that cfl's produce then more power to you. The plant is stretching and he is absolutely right about increasing the amount of light. Or you could put those cfl's just a tad bit closer. I prefer the tube lighting when they are that small just like he pointed out. You could go all the way through with those cfl's but my advice kind of what the man said before get more light. buy a couple more of those cfl's and get those suckers right up on it. That's a bubbler right, built yourself? Your a step ahead of me if that's the case.

should i have my fan directly aimed at the plants? i have it on low but when i aim it at them it blows em around pretty hard, ive just had it on in the room, its a real small closet so theres still good circulation but i dont no if its eough

The fans are somewhat to simulate wind. The branches will have to adapt to this so that makes them stronger, just make sure its not too windy. Its also a good way from keepin the area too hot, if you have a larger light, that bitch will get hot, so if you have a fan blowin up towards the ceiling to keep that nasty heat away.

i just ordered a 150w hps light. should i put it in as soon as i get it along with the other lights, or wait till flowering, and when i flower should i use all of my lights?

what should i do with the other lights? they wont fit over the plants w/o blocking the plants from the hps. should i try to mount them on the sides? or someting elce. let me know what you think
