In the AG I change it weekly maybe every 5 days. The pH rises pretty high in about 5 days and instead of adjusting I just change the res.
The soil is watered when it is dry. And usually takes less than a quart before there is runoff. And I mixed up a quart today at 1/4 of 1/4 str.
Yeah the K does seem high but many have had good results with it so I am not changing it if it is not broken. They were drooping before the first feeding. And still droopy today. I was thinking of changing up the AG pump schedule because it is watering 24 hrs now.

thats good , usally when the ph raises its because the plant is eating.

The aergoarden has a pump that circulates the reservoir up into the net cups and drips back into the reservoir. There are many settings for different veggies. And when you change the settings the light cycles and watering cycles change.

I had a thought this morning. And I may be right. The room that they're kept in gets down to about 67 at night. Maybe drooping because it likes it a little warmer. That is why they lift under the lights and droop over night. Just a theory that I may test out tonight with a space heater to keep it in the 70s.
But they're definitely still growing over night. Lots of new green filling in on the lower branches and lots of hairs popping up here and there. And towards the main stem everything is starting to get crystals on it.

i have heard of people not running the pump all the time ....but when i was usin my aerogarden i always left it on 24 hours a day on every single thing i grew in it and i had no problems at all !!!

I am gonna leave it alone. I added some more light yesterday and I swear she smiled at me. 3 days in a row I had to raise the light and she is getting bushy and drinking a pint a day. I have been moving the lights around in the day too trying to get the lower nether regions too. My hps will be here in a couple days along with my lab. My sister n law is coming to visit too so I gotta move everything out before she gets here. I am hoping my lab is here by then but if not then I will think of something.

I saw the unused AG in one of your pics ho. Did you give up and just do soil now? I think I may too and just grow herbs in my AG heh. Soil is so much easier and low maintenance. And some of them lights you have are huge. heh

What do you think? I trimmed some of the dead fan leaves yesterday morning and wow. I think it liked the trim. She is filling in nice. And the soil grow is getting big too. It is a short rider too but they look and feel different. I am hoping it will be a female too.

I think I know why are getting so droopy. It must be getting to cold for them. They were real droopy this morning so I checked the pH, perfect. I checked the temps from last night. It got down to 66 degrees. I hope they will be ok. I will watch the growth and see if it is stunted at all. I may have to get them they're own little space heater. Or maybe I will bring them to bed with me and spoon with them.

They should be fine man, my last grow that i finished almost a month ago was going during the winter when it was getting really cold, even in cali and she did fine

Is it just me or have ebay sellers gone way down hill. I haven't used abay in almost a year and I just did 2 orders. Both sellers failed! First was for a grow lab, i won the auction but they were out of stock and failed to let me know til I called looking for it. They offered an upgrade which would've been too big so I took a downgrade and something extra. I haven't got it yet so lets see if I get the extra yo-yo light hanger I asked for. Second fail is my light. I ordered a 250 mh/220 hps light setup. I got it today and it is pretty good quality until I see a big 150 in the model number on my hps. It is supposed to be a 220w conversion bulb. Doh! They failed too. Now I am waiting to see what happens with this. I think I will stick to dchydro.com or amazon because ebay earned a big F today for double fail. /vent off

Yea man fuc Ebay, especially now people are just trying to make a quicc dollar

which ebay store did u go to? there are alot of them and some are good people.
yea i would be super fuckin pissed over both ordeals! i bet they sent u a regular 150hps ballast with regular 150 bulbs, correct? i have never heard of a 150w conversion bulb they are ussally wierd numbers like 220 and 430 and shit like that. i would DEMAND a 250 setup instead of that so u can get what u paid for.

(both a mh and a hps will work fine in a hps ballast but not in a mh ballast)

i also agree that 67 degrees is not gonna cause the droopy part. they always droop a lil while they are asleep. They look very healthy right now so i would not worry ...yet. also there is a HUGE difference in the AG and the dirt? Why would you say dirt is easier? IMO i think dirt (the right way) is way harder to master then any hydro setup.

I ordered a 250mh/220hps conversion kit. They sent the kit with a 250mh/150hps conversion bulb. He said they dont even carry 150 and it mustve been in the case by accident. He already sent me another one. I got it from Insidesun.com's ebay store. Mike from insidesun.com is pretty good so far when it comes to cust service. He replies quick and shit happens. I blame it on my bad luck. heh

I think I will setup the light tomorrow if the lab comes. I will just run the MH light til the hps gets here. Do you think it will help?

Well with my dirt I don't gotta do shit but admire it. heh The AG takes daily maintenance. Monitor the water the pH and ppm. Yah gotta clean and change the reservoir every week too. And if something happens and I need to I can just throw the dirt in a closet and not worry about spilling water everywhere. I have watered the dirt 2 times and fed it once. That is it. heh The AG is growing faster though but it is a week older and seems to be a different pheno. The ag seems to grow more steady too. The dirt grows in spurts. I will keep running both though. I may try a hempy bucket next grow or dwc, not sure.

I may do 1 Wonder Woman 1 Northern Lights 1 Blue Mystic and 1 Lowryder next. I am waiting to see what Nirvana sends me for free if it is even labeled. I may even just pop a Northern Lights in some dirt and do it with ym short riders. NL is supposed to do real well 12/12 from seed.

I would use the mh up until they start flowering then switch to hps. (thats the norm)
a balance of both is even better in my opinion.
