Nice. We believe it has many sativa traits (tall!) but we also are using a lot of things to increase size like coco, air pots, and a long veg time.

would you make a clone, as an experiment? i know that a flowering bud that reveggs from really late does this crazy bush thing. so.. if you're up to it... just make a clone out of your weakest looking flower.

Hey everyone. We haven't updated in a little while cause we've been so busy but we will get some new pictures up tomorrow. Guessing about two and a half weeks left... and our buds are turning a nice shade of purple. Stay posted!

The light is about five inches from the tops of our plants and our temperatures remain at 73 degrees. No signs of stretching.

Thanks man! Here's some pictures from today.

Hell ya man looking nice!! You have an approximate time frame on when you're going to harvest, and are you planning on giving them complete darkness for "X" (not sure how much time people usually do) amount of time before chopping them down?

dam shell looking F'in great they dont looked stretched at all just genetics my purple kush did the same thing nodes still look pretty tight to me how far along are they now.

looking great shell, i had a few questions when you have a minute.

-with your humidity around 70 (i cant see the gauge that well in the picutre) with the lights on... i imagine its much higher during darkness. are you running a humidifier at night?/ have you had problems with powdery mildew or other molds?

-do you know what the lowest temp is at night with the lights off? i think that is maybe what is causing the ladies to flush purple, and i am very curious.
-how many weeks into 12/12 are those last pics you posted?

i know i am grilling you a little but i am hungry for info

cheers!

Hi headbanded, we would be glad to answer your questions. we have been battling with high humidity throughout the grow. the humidity usually stays around 50% with the tarp closed but darts up to 70% with the tarp open due to outside weather conditions. we purchased a mini dehumidifier for the grow space but it didn't do much. our fans and ventilation seem to be keeping mold/mildew problems in check. we found small amounts of powdery mildew on lower leaves a couple weeks ago and treated them with neem oil. the problem disappeared within days. i think for growing spaces with humidity problems you just need to keep an eye on the plants daily and all problems will be prevented.

as for the night time temps, they remain at 60-65%. we have an oil heater outside of the cabinet that is timed to come on during the night hours to help with the cold weather.

and for the 12/12 light cycle, we started that about 3 weeks ago.

we just posted some new pics. check em out and let us know what you think! have a good night

Hey man thanks a lot. :] We are expecting harvest in about two weeks. I don't think we're going to try the dark period this time around.

Just a side note after too many broken air stones... http://www.walmart.com/ip/Aqua-Culture-Bubble-Aquarium-Stone-1-ct/10532630

This is the best air stone we have used so far. Only one side means the water very easily rinses through the whole stone quickly (leaving no residue) and it is way harder to break. Not to mention it really competes with hydro store prices (especially if you just walk out with them... for fuck's sake, it's Wal Mart). Also, there isn't a little piece of plastic planted into the end of the stone, meaning it can fall out and fall apart. The plastic part is built on so you'd really have to TRY to break this thing.

Just a head's up! In case you hate air stones as much as we do.

hey nice going with your grow everything looks great so far but as to you saying you trying to keep things on the low i would think keeping your face out of the pictures would keep u more on the low then having your face out there like that and yea the air stones are cool i found its cheaper to make my own though by simply melting the end of the air hose and poking holes in it you can make it as long or short as u want, kinda simple but it works

Thanks a lot man very appreciated. That's a great idea we were trying to think of something along those lines. We tested one of those flexible, long "air wands" or whatever but hardly any air flow so we didn't even bother. We'll have to get our hands on some extra tubing today or tomorrow and give that a shot. It sounds easy to clean, too.

PS- Notice how that girl in this thread probably couldn't even tell I was a girl? I'm not too concerned about someone recognizing me... haha.
