Hello, being a new grower, I'm not sure when to harvest, do you think this plant is mature enough? are they enough swollen ?

I would rather harvest when the trichomes are cloudy rather than orange

thanks

Hard to tell, huge hair on one of the buds. You need a jewelers loop or a digital magnifier to see the trichs properly.

i didn't

so ... is the last picture a "mature" plant ?

because the trichomes of mine look a lot like it
I would say no if its my plant. Its getting close but a tad more amber in the trichomes. Thats as long as the pistils dont get too dark in the process. Its a balancing act and to some extent what YOU want out of the bud. Older (some amber) will have a little more CBN.

I know your pain...im chomping at the bit to chop at least the main kola off a couple pf mine. Mine aint ready either but it sure likes tasty.

yeah ok i'll wait another week, after so much time, a week more or less it's not much thanks !

for the pistils, this variety produces them all the time, that's why I was advised to look at the trichomes rather than the pistils

also it is a small plant in a 2 liter pot only

(strain is hulkberry auto)

Ive got 2 identical plants under identical grow/nutrients/ect. One is still mostly white pistils and the other has way more orange. As long as they are cranking out plenty of white they are putting on weight too. Granted an auto has another factor vs these regular seeds. Decide whats most important to you but i would say another week is a good guess. At the worst you get more bud out of your efforts.

Sugar leaf trichs you can almost ignore and focus mostly the trichs on the calyx/buds themselves. Mostly clear to milky with some amber tossed in.

no, the buds will no longer grow, it's been more than 5 weeks since the flower made new pistils which turn orange, then it makes other white ones

and the flowers haven't grown an inch in the meantime

Can you show a pic of the whole plant? Those are pretty tiny flowers unless I’m missing something. Hard to know how much longer without seeing more, but weeks. Do you have a cola picture?
