Ah okok. I was under the impression I should put a net on the canopy now, then flip to 12/12, and tuck the tops during the stretch. But I should set a net and tuck tops while they're vegging, then flip lights once there's a sufficient amount of tops out of the net?
You can easily double your yield by tying down the tops as they grow in veg for as long as you want really. I would grow them horizontally along and when they reached the edge let them get a few inches on them so I could bend them around and start them back across again. As the side branches grew out of the main branches tie them down too. I don't weave but use short pieces of twist tie to hold them to the screen. Sometimes I'll want to re-position a branch and just have to undo 2 or 3 ties and move it to where I want and tie it back down.

You end up vegging for longer but if you plan to keep growing then get one started and while it's flowering be getting another one ready. Once the first one is done you could be harvesting one every month or two months and just keep starting new ones a month or two apart to keep the cycle going. Need separate veg and bud rooms to do that but don't need large spaces unless that's what you want.

DWC ScroG is great as they grow so fast in veg. I've got 8oz off one plant and almost that much in sugar trim and popcorn buds from it too. It was a Kali Mist and started off as a mother in ProMix but I decided it would be good for ScroG so made a netpot out of one of my 2L tobacco cans as it was growing in one already. It had 4 tall main branches so I had to bend them over at the start.

Having problems getting pics uploaded and it's past my bedtime so try again tomorrow.

If you do well on your first grow, it's the second grow that suffers.
Seems I was often checking and adjusting the PH of my mixing bucket while the probe was still the res.:eyesmoke::roll:

Both work, many a net has been added at the last minute to gain headroom.

I want to try dwc on my next grow. It just seems like a lot more to handle. I almost think I have too many tops right now for how short they are so I'm going to let them veg longer like you said and let the top grow some and tuck them in the scrog. I got 6 inch squares and was just thinking I have too many and too close of tops to put only one top in each square.
