So my little Durban Poison is growing those 2 little leaves on the side of the cotyleons
My Afgan sprouted and is now a little seedling , but her cotyleon are closed they will probably open soon like the other one.
But my skunk still did'nt germ
i think its not good , but i'll give a couple more days .
Any comment on what i should do next ?

Is was thinking of doing a SCROG , where i put a screen over the plant so they stay at the same level.
Would it be possible in my room ? I was walking in wal-mart in the gardening isle and i saw a roll of screening , same used in SCROG's , so i thought that i can hook the screen from one end to the other (side to side , not front to back) and try it out .
will it give me better yield ?
will it be good for 2 or 3 plants?

How big should be the squares in the screen ?
At what height should i install the screen?
The seeds were not free actually i got a good price from a local 40$ CAD for 15 seeds and 2 / 3 germed so im pretty happy.
As for the freebies from speedyi'm still waiting for them
at what height depends on how much space you have and how long and large you want to let them veg. as for hole size i think 3-4sqin is standard
MH and HPS are comparable but im pretty sure HPS (High Power Sodium) has better light penetration but uses more light

Today i woke up to a little bigger durban poison , an open cytoleons from my afgan .
And the best of all :
Before i had a afgan seed i couldnt find in the soil so i tought it was lost , well ..... this morning it showed up next to the other afgan LMAO
LOL i planted it alone in another pot
so now we have 2 afgan and 1 durban poison and i think the skunk is not good so i think im gonna pull it out and work with 3 plants for now !

Yo in regards to your MH vs HPS question. MH is commonly used for vegetative growing due to it's blue spectrum of light. HPS is commonly used for flowering due to it's red spectrum of light. You can veg and flower with either but the best results seem to come from MH/veg and HPS/flower. Some people prefer to use both red and blue spectrums during all phases of the growing

Thanks for answering ... for my first grow and since i cant afford a HPS right now i'll be flowering with Floros
I currently have a Skunk#1 germinating, its craked so should have a nice root tomorow . This one will be outside for the whole grow ill be toping it to keep low so the neighbors don't see it.

i allways put my germ seeds in warm dark place in paper towel then once they split i put them in a peet pot with a plastic baggie over them put them in the sun in the moning and over fridge at nite till pushing plastic up then its off to see the wizard the wonderfull wizard of OZ>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
