First grow fluffy buds...

Just finished my first successful grow. My buds are potent, flavorful, and decent sized. My only concern is after drying, and curing they are more on the fluffy side, not very dense? I used allot of CFL's for light, and I hear CFL's grow kinda fluffy bud. Should I switch to HID or LED for denser stickier buds?

The only thing that should really matter is the weight of end product.

I like that they weren't so compact with cfls, That way I could get rid of every little leaf stem.

The quality, quantity, and flavor is there for sure. With cfl's alone. Next grow I want harder denser buds. Looks like HPS :->

I believe CFLs give good quality because of the spectrum they put out. It is also easy to run 6500k alongside 2700k and get more flavor.

6500k is supposed to put out more flavor.

HPS bro, they will give you the density you desire and with better yields. If you think you quality was good with CFLs wait untill you fire up that HPS. Also, I have grown total cycles with cfl, hps, and led still the hps is raining champ for quality and yields. LEDs can grow out some nice dense green but for cost per watt hps all the way.

How big is your space? How many plants? I shortened up my grow space to 3.5x5.5 and went from 600w to 1000w and there doing great. Congrats on your first successful grow!!!!!! post some pics!!!
