First Grow, First post, first question

I am on the first day of week 10 and wanted to show some photos to find out if she is ready to get harvested. any and all advice would e appreciated.

I'm under the impression that too many people are cutting too soon for best herb. I myself have harvested too many times over the years without waiting for the amber trichomes to come well into play.

What you have are milky to some cloudy trichomes. Milky trichomes gets you more of a head high... 40% amber trichomes goes more of the couch stone.

My guess for cutting them in my time would be another 3 or 4 weeks - Reason - I'm going for at least 40% amber. The head high just ain't cutting it for my medical needs.

I agree with phase, though I'd say that unless you want a couch lock you can pull them now. To me it looks like there are more ambers than clears. That tells me that for every clear that matures to milky more than one milky turns amber.

thank you. this is my first attempt at a grow. Started with random bag seed. 4 seeds. 2 ended up male. then about 2 weeks ago one of the girls stopped drinking and started to die. Seemed it was extreme nitrogen toxicity. Harvested her early and she gave a short lived uplifting buzz. I managed to save this one and wanted to make sure I got the most out of her.

I'm building a little grow shed with a 4x8x8 bloom room which will grow both vertical and horizontal. rdwc system I converted a waterfarm system into. scrog the walls and horizontal. 4 x 600 watt gavita pro, a 18,500 btu a/c, kenmore dehumidifier, and a small heater. hopefully keeping the temps around between 55 and 75 entire bloom phase. then a veg and cloning room using cfl.it will be 8x6x8 but will have a sink, drying chamber, etc in it. kinda like a work room as well. I am going to attempt my luck at a grow journal with it and post pictures. I am big on diy. this forum has helped me a lot during my initial research on my build and my first Grow attempt.

will be growing 4 godberry feminized, 4 blueberry fem, 4 columbian sweet femanized , 4 og kush, and a single pot for an attempt at Blue pyramid auto.
