Nice looking plants, can I ask what you are using bulb wise like how many and what watt also what are you growing them in? I think you would really benefit from a trimming cut some of those leaves off not all and don't go nuts just remove a few to help light get to the inner buds. Looks like pretty hairy buds man! Check out my thread here in the cfl area!

I've got a 150 watt feliz and about 10 23 -30 watt. Mix of 28k and 67 they are in 2 1/2 gal square pots i agree on the trim job but have heard mixed opinions

I agree I've herd the same thing, I believe it's all personal preference. In my opinion it's good to cut some off . I cut enough to just get better penetration from my lights to the inner buds. I used growweedeasy.com as a guide it's really helpful they have tons of info there. What soil did you use and do you have any nutes?

4th week of flower sour d clone all organic 23w cfls all around with reflectors everytime i added worm casting soil i added egg shells i used urine wood ashes and organic grow from home depot how she look so far? she was a gift from my wife for my anniversary..lol just trying to keep her pumpin buds....

No none at all just flora nova bloom and foliage pro
checked the trichomes tonight with the phone magnifier to see them but need a better one...jjst a couple of close ups...used coffee grounds and urine was on fhe menu for her tonight...lol..just waiting for them to puss up...then harvest time..fuckin pumped wanted to take the lower branches off cause they are small lil buds but figured ill leave it...shits gonna be potent...

Why is it good to cut some leaves off? Leaves don't block light they use it.
Explain the science behind cutting leaves .among bigger buds. Bud leaf uses only a small percentage of light it receives compared to can leaves that use most of what they receive.
Cutting leaves is only useful with a very thick canopy like a a scrog.
Good looking grow though.

There is no science it's common sense if there are eight million leaves on a plant in a very small grow space your going to have shaded spots on the plant. From what I've read don't you want the buds sites exposed to as much direct light as possible... like I said it's personal preference dude not a scientific fact.
so had to tie up some branches today they are starting to get heavy goin on 5 weeks in flower, and they are exposed to more light as well..got the molassass today gonna start feeding it to her on the next feed which is in 2 days...organic grow, 1/4 teaspoon of malassass, wood ashes, and urine all in one so far shes looks good to me for a first grow but still learning too..im also gonna split the stem at the base, its called splitting, to make more trichomes...how she look Fellas...???and i gotta pinch the buds again in 4 days...

sp i read up on how the hippies grew some fire budz back in the day and it specifies that 40 to 60 ML of coconut water (pure) to every gallon is like a steroid for the roots, so i am trying it today for the first time and it has to be done every week i mixed it with wood ashes as well, said it would boost my budz....
