Hey all,
I've just started my very first grow, got sprouts earlier today! One of them grew an inch in just 14 hours. Anyways, I'm growing one Moby Dick (by DinaFem) and one Feminized Papaya (by Nirvana). I'm using 55-60% Black Gold potting mix (5-0-0) and about 40% perlite. I'm using a 250w MH for vegging and I'll switch to HPS when flowering. I'll try to update daily with pics and feel free to give advice and/or criticize as I'm trying to learn as much as I can.

I've got some new pics from day 3. They're doing great, looking strong. Gave them a light watering today, the soil was dried out. Hopefully they'll really start taking off in the next few days. Pic 1 is Moby Dick and Pic 2 is Papaya.

Hey guys sorry it has taken me so long to post an update. So we're on day 13, they accidentally received 24 hours of dark because a circuit blew, but they didnt wilt and seemed to push through it fine. This shouldnt affect flowering should it? Will it be fine as long as i get it right back on the 18/6 light schedule? Thanks a lot. And here are some pics. Pic 1 is Moby Dick and Pic 2 is Papaya.

Hey guys, sorry it's taken me so long to post, the plants nearly died from lack of watering but they're are now THRIVING and are in their 3rd day of 12/12 light. I transplanted into 3 gallon pots about 2 weeks ago, and fed them blooming nutes today for the first time (Alaska Morbloom 0-10-10). The Moby Dick is about 24" tall and is pictured first, the Papaya is about 16" tall and is the second one pictured. Let me know what you think!

So now my babies have been flowering for 15 days, on day 10 i realized that the 3 gallon pots weren't gonna cut it so i transplanted them into 10 gallons. The moby dick is getting tall, it's up past my waist now, and the papaya just keeps getting bushier, and its gaining some height as well. I feed them half doses of Alaska Morbloom every watering, and if they continue to tolerate it i'll up the dosage in the coming weeks. I finally decided to take some pics with my nice camera, so here they are. The first 5 are of the moby dick and the last 2 are the papaya. Enjoy and tell me what you think.

Day 29 Flowering. Just fed the plants today, trimmed the Papaya up a little bit. I'm going to have to support the Moby Dick soon the buds are already weighing down the branches. Pics are of both of the main colas, papaya first and moby second.

Just starting the 7th week of 12/12 lighting, this is a few pictures of the Moby Dick, which i think will be ready in 2-3 weeks. Let me know what you think though. I looked at the trichomes with a magnifying glass and looked about 50/50 cloudy and clear. I gave each of the plants molasses for the first time yesterday, so we'll see if that makes much of a difference. The papaya is probably a week or so behind the moby dick and will probably be ready in about 3 weeks.

So my babies are slowly but steadily getting close to harvest time. I believe the Moby Dick is closest, I think i'm gonna pull the top in 4-5 days and give the rest of the plant another 5 days if it can survive that long. The Papaya has about 2 weeks left I think, only about 20% of the hairs have turned brown and the trichs are clear and cloudy. The main cola on the Papaya looks realllly cool right now, it looks like theres 4 separate flowers with about 15-20 pistils each. I think it'll end up being close to pop can thickness, it's almost as thick as a water bottle right now. Anyways, I have some new pics, first 4 are Papaya and second 4 are Moby Dick.
