First grow ever, Need some help & advice on my progress :)

This is an amazing website. Best I have seen till now. It's just simple & organized, which is what I like.
So after researching for a few months, and saving some money, I decided to do it!

I'm growing 7 Shiva skunks from Sensi Seeds. They are currently 2 1/2 weeks into flowering, and they vegged for 1 month.

It's a 4x4 room, with very good ventilation & airflow. I'm using 600 watt HPS from the beginning. The growing medium is Promix HP without anything (No EWC or extra perlite). I think maybe that's my first mistake, or not.
I used Flora Nova grow when they were vegging, and I have used Flora Nova bloom 7-4-10 till now.
I water on a wet-dry basis, and I feed 75% dose every other watering. I started off with tap water, but honestly it looked disgusting to me and I don't even drink it. So i decided to use distilled water, and they don't seem to hate it.
4 of them are in 3Gal pots, and the rest are in 5Gals.

First of all, I would like to know how they're doing, overall; it's my first time and I don't have much experience to tell.

I have also decided to purchase either the cha/ching or the beastie/bloom to continue. I can only buy one of them though because of money issues, so if I have to get one, which one should it be?

Roughly, how much could this grow yield?

I am trying to post pictures, but its not letting me for some reason.:cry: Will post them as soon as possible.
Please tell me your thoughts.

Thanks,
happy growing.

When i had trouble uploading pictures in the beginning it was because the resolution was set to high...hope this helps

Ok so here are the pics.

Would there be a huge yield difference between the 3gal plants and the 5gal plants?

P.S - I slightly broke one of my plants' main stem, just a little, when I was trying to bend it, will it heal? I'm holding it up now because it can't seem to hold itself in place properly.

Well I thought I could use them in very low doses, to help put on some weight. So what should I use then? Any other fox farm fert? I'm just pretty low on money :)

I bent one of my two plants like that and it is growing fine, well i did it at about the same stage as you and it may have delayed growth a week or so. If you have something to stake it with that would help...here are some pictures of what happened with that plant that i just snapped (couldn't get any real good shots due to space issues).

black strap molassis 1 tablespoon per gallon per week loads of carbs and micros and a fine chelating agent which is an all around bonus . 1 straw cut 3 inches long and slit down middle longways place over damaged area and tape . remove in two-three weeks. repaired!

diesel: that plant is looking great! I hope mine would look like that but she especially was stressed quite a bit before, which caused her to over stretch, which is why I bent her ass.

pink: the straw method sounds good to me :)

well you plants look ahead of mine at that point by a little if i am remembering correctly and you are using a 600w hps, while i have 2 foot t5s and t12s(for more specs check the link in my thread) Today was 8 weeks of flowering on that plant. You should hope for yours to turn out much better than mine:leaf: good luck growing

Beastie bloom and chaching work excellent for me with no burn whatsoever and that was my first time even using them. all foxfarm products are bomb, but i would suggest not just getting one foxfarm soluable ...

get the 3 liquids and all 3 solid soluables you wont be sorry

More soil, more roots, more roots, more plant, more plant more bud, see where this is going??

Remember when you veg, you are building the root structure, when you flip your time to flower, the plant takes off outside the soil. It took me two grows to figure that out.

Thanks, good luck to you too. I hope she turns out to be alright. Shes droopy most of the time though and just looks completely unhealthy to me. :(

How much would this grow(seven plants) roughly yield? Anyone?
if you go to the harvesting and curing section there are tons of threads with this question. the general consensus is that this is not a question that can be answered. Maybe a little later on in flowering people will be able to make better guesses. I vegged for a month and will be looking at less than 1oz a plant

lol foxfarm is organic.. im not sure what your talking about.. any pot grown with nutrients, especially chemical nutrients, will crackle and pop if its not properly flushed.. not sure where your trying to go with this but foxfarm is still bomb nomatter what you have to say. have you even ever tried it?

looks like you forgot to flush the soil out for two weeks before harvest.. get yourself a book or something

Strange my local hydroshop guy says foxfarm is THE BEST nutrient he carries.. and he had everything that ive seen people using on this and other forums. I asked,, is there anything else i can add to the 3 part liquid and 3 part soluable? he told me NOTHING.. needs to be added .

but what does he know, he just runs a hydro shop
