First grow ever, looks like bad yield?

Hello everyone!

I'm a first time grower from sweden. I got One Fem. White Widow and One Fem. Critical from Royal Queen seeds, 400w Hps and i am using the 4way lst method. I am not really happy about the result so far, looks like the yield is about to be low? The critical got about two weeks left and the widow about four weeks? What do you guys think about the yield?(Sorry for the bad english)

All the top buds looks like the one with the lighter.. Its about 20tops on each plant..

They look good so far! You still got a few weeks, be patient, buds usually swell up much more in the last few weeks of flowering.

It's hard to judge yield from a picture, in fact not easy to predict even when seeing the plant alive...but your plants look healthy, so that's the most important factor.

As a wild guess...maybe 2-3 ounces per plant, but they will likely fatten up, so you never know until the end.

looks good, nice even growth, uniform buds
some sort of bud booster additive might be handy for the plant with 4 weeks left but don't stress
the yield isn't super but no ones is in the first grow, it's just a learning curve for the next grow & the next & the next and as firsts go it's great
no matter what the yield is, you'll have some weed that you're not paying for

They are looking great, you did an outstanding job for your 1st time. Just remember the top 3 mistakes new growers make. Over feeding, over watering and harvesting to early. Have patience in this last stage of growth and you will be rewared.

They are looking good. How long did you veg for? If you really want your LST to pay off, you should be a little patient in veg and remember that having more tops doesn't always result in more buds. It's strain dependent. Plus, I see BioThrive Bloom in your pictures. Is that all you are using right now?

I dont understand why mine have LONNNG stalks and just 3-5 sets of leaves at the top-outside and watered right in FF soil........guess I just need to be a doctor and have patients

Are you going by the breeder's "harvest time"? If so always use that as a very rough guideline. You'll want to START checking your trics then. Chances are they'll still be clear. You should see some heavy swelling during the last 2 weeks. Calyxes will swell up and your pistils will be swallowed up. Recede and change color. That's when you'll know your girls are about ready. So don't worry the weight will come. You just have to wait it out. Keep use updated though. Your plants look spectacular and you've done one hell of a job. Especially during your first run.I want to see how they turn out. I have 3 of RQ's Critical beans stashed away from a previous order.

You have at least three weeks, probably closer to 4.5 left.

Thats what i dont get Merlot!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its outside so yes the light is pretty far away and I always thought SUNLIGHT was pretty good!

They are growing good and smells lovely! :) (my english isn't the best but I hope you understand, Its hard for me to answer all the questions, I understand them but I dont think you will understand me) :D

Yes Its the breeder's time, thats just good If they have some more time then! I Will Keep you updated with the critical!

basically the further away from a lightbulb you are the less intense it is, you can travel the same distance away from the sun without loosing as much intensity because the sun has a little more energy behind it, also the plant needs to be in the light not just have a good view of the light out the back
that's not the sciencey explanation

I appreciate the help-and yes fluff up they arent CONSTANTLY in the sun-I guess I need to move them with the sun to keep them constantly lit up?

Most will go longer than what breeder says. Also the first week or two after 12/12 flip don't count towards flower.

If breeder says 8 weeks it might take 8-11. Then a week or so after flip. So you are looking at 9-12 weeks of 12/12.
