So far i have- 3 45-50 gallon storage containers, as well as one 10 gallon one. I plan on having about 10 plants in each and 2 mothers in the 10 gal. I have the net pots and a little homemade clone box. I decided to go with fluorescent tubes as my lighting- (please no comments about how a hps would be better, I want to do it this way) I have 18 4' bulbs going at 3500k w\ 3400 lumens per bulb @ 40watts apiece on the flowering tables. quick math = 61200 lumens total for flowering tables @ 720 watts. also have 4-6 bulbs for the "mom's house" @6500k - 12400 lumens @160 watts. I have bought the nutes too, flora grow flora bloom and flora micro. anyone have any suggestions that differ from the recommended amounts per gallon listed on the bottle? I also bought a ph test kit. not electronic but I like looking like a mad scientist, color changing ph kit and all. I still need to pick up air pumps and air stones. If someone could offer advise here, that would be great- Do I need to have the air stones directly underneath the plants so that the bubbles hit the roots? Or does it just oxygenate the water so well that your roots dont need actual contact?
