First Grow: Dutch Passion White Widow

Transplanted the plants into bigger pots with some Foxfarm soil. I think they were rootbound cause the roots were growing all around the cup.

Foxfarm soil looks and feels like its a lot higher quality than miracle grow. The hydroponics guy said I should notice a big difference from the Foxfarm soil.

I thought the plants were getting big ha now they look tiny. Oh I don't have a camera except on my phone and I just got a new phone with a better camera so I'll be putting more pictures up now.

Really not anything to say, but here's some new pics. If you look at the 5th picture, it looks like some normal skinny leaves will soon be growing instead of these weird fat looking ones.

Alright well it's been one month now and the plants are starting to have a slight odor.

I've added a fan inside the room to help circulate air and the strengthen the plants.

So far I feel everything is going well, I will be transplanting the plants into the 5 gallon buckets this friday. I will also be installing a new can fan and carbon filter, since I plan to start flowering soon (November 1st).

I haven't used any fertilizers yet but I think I will be starting the foxfarm feeding schedule next wednesday. I'm gonna start at week 4 on the schedule, but will only use half the amount they say to use.

I am just starting my dutch passion white widow. The seeds are starting to poke through the rockwool. So I will be roughly a month behind you.

Cheers mate!! I vegged my girls like so:- 3 weeks from sprouting under 2x fluro envirolights (24/0) then 2 weeks under 600w hps at 16/8 before i switched to flower (12/12)

Hope that helps in any way!!

Alright so I kinda got behind on updating the journal, but here's some new pics.

I got a new fan that moves 171 cfm. It's a bit loud, but hopefully when I get the carbon filter it will quiet down somewhat.

I also transplanted the plants into growbags, They're 3 gallon bags and that what they'll stay in till harvest. The hydroponics guy recommended them and said 5 gallon buckets weren't really necessary for an indoor grow.

I topped all the plants. I didn't really want to, but a friend wanted some clones so it's whatever. In the third pic you can see how i topped them, can anyone tell me if i did this ok, Thanks.

Everything's going just fine. Last night was my first time feeding the plants nutes, and it seemed to really help.

I mixed about 1.5 tsp of FF Grow Big with 1/4 tsp of Open Sesame in one gallon of water. I adjusted the ph level to be around 6.5 and watered all four plants with just that one gallon of water.

I'm counting this feeding as week 4 on the FF schedule and only used half of what they say to use. Next week I'm gonna try to use the full amount they recommend, hopefully it won't be too much for my plants.

Well damn plants are gone lol.

Everything was going great but we got caught lmao. Don't worry not by the cops. It was a fun 40 days and I learned a lot and next time I grow I know it'll be even better.

The main lesson i learned from this grow is to watch how loud everything is. If that fan wouldve had a carbon fiilter i think i wouldve been fine. Sucks cause i was gonna get one the day they were found. If only i wouldve gotten one a couple hours earlier haha.

Better luck next year.
