First grow! :D

Hey guys! This is capenkonic ready to start growing for the very first time!

Well to start things off, i live with my parents so im attempting a stealth grow. If i get caught i share it with you guys ha

My setup atm is a plastic storage container, 2 23w CFLS. A Double 6in fan for stem strengthening and just regulate air flow for my babies. Im currently using tin foil for reflection, unfortunatly.

Im germinating the seeds atm, just regular bag seed that smoked pretty good so i decided to plant em'

awesome bro this is gonna be very hard to pull off. the smell if they go in ur room while your not there, there is a lot of risk involved here. do they even know you smoke?

Be very careful. This shit will smell up a whole house very easiliy.

At least try to make a homemade carbon filter and buy some ona


you really shouldn't be growing in a house that isn't yours though, but im not here to preach.

look in your first aid kit . do you have a thermal blanket? if u do u have Mylar try that instead of the foil

Thanks for reply's, but yea my parents no i smoke so if they catch me it will be more like a smack on the hand lol.
Also, i was reading about homemade carbon filters for like 10$ but im not gonna do that till i actually start smelling it.

i just got 2 y splitter adapters for lights ($2.47 ea) along with 2 more 23w cfls($5.99 2 pack)( I think 2700k but i know they are yellowish kinda). I know 2700k is for flowering but im thinking about a 12/12 grow cause space issues.

Also i just got some crazy good chronic seeds, supposedly called heavy double bubble. so im pretty excited.

i germinated my seeds in a wet paper towel until the root was bout half inch. then i put it in soil in a cup until it was aboout 3 inches tall. then i transplanted it into a milk jug with the top cut off. its jus shy of a month old and its only like 5-7 inches tall and has only like 3 pairs of leaves.....

GOOD OR BAD?

That seems pretty good, what lights are you using and how far are they away from your plants, cause that plays a good role in the height of your plant.

Can any reply and tell me if i should try a 12/12 cycle, Is it harder than going through veg first and so on.

well you just want have a large crop cause your basically forcing it to bud from seed but i would do 18/6 for 2 to 4 weeks then switch let them grow a lil before forcing them.

milk jugs probably aren't the best idea. they are translucent and will let light through to the roots

Hey! My babies just sprouted early today!
they are now straight up and look healthly
although one of them has a brown tip idk if its light burn or if its because im using tap water.
My lights are about 4-6 inchs above my plant 2 23w CFLs on 24/7 will be adding 2 more soon

I'm new myself but I do know 2 things. For your Veg weeks you want 6400K CFLs running 18-24 hrs a day. you also want to be no more than 2 in. from the tops of you plants because you are using CFL's. I don't know where you live but if you have a Lowes or a Home Depot, you will find a 4 pack of 26w (100w) for about 10 bucks. Good Luck!!!

Im pretty sure there 6400k, but i do live right by a home depot and have shopped there recently to get Y splitter sockets, but thanks for the info! I just added another 23w CFL and anotehr sprout poped up in another pot .

Will be adding pics when i can find a camera to do it with
