First grow CFL needs help please

Hope someone can help me......would like to beef up the buds on these gals, as well as need help with either lockout or nutrient deficiency . I know my lighting is horrible, but I'm using three 13 watt cfl bulbs and 2 fluorescent bulbs; one fluor is a grow light that says its 7,800k (pretty much all it says), and the other fluor is a reptile uv light thats 10 watts. I'm about to be 3 weeks into flowering (5 weeks if you include the first 2 week 12/12 switch)......just looks small to me and older bottom leaves are starting to spot rust/yellow, eventually die off.

Plants are aprox 84 days old; they were kept under one cfl for the longest time, 8 weeks....then i gradually started getting more lights. Im getting some 42 watt cfl's (150 watt equivlent, 2700k) tomorrow, in the mean time I try and get them some natural sun since i think insufficient lighting is one problem; but anything i can do to beef up these broads?

And can help determine whether I have a lockout or nutrient problem? Im using miracle grow bloom booster as nutrients; 15-30-15 ratio (n-p-k)...I'd like to be semi successful (successful being able to get bud off these babes)....any help appreciated!!

The first two pics are just showing the plant themselves (i know they're puny, the one is 18 inches and the other is 14 inches); the last pic is of the rust spots...

TY for any help you can provide; as im a first timer!

Lookin pretty good,
just try to get up to 90 watts if you can and move the lights just a tad closer if at all possible. That shouldnt cause a nutrient problem if your using it right. try not to over water with your solution.

Im just a newbie but my CFL grow is getting pretty beefy with 8 colas and 150 watts for CFL power. all i can say is look around you or a friends house for 30+ watt CFL bulbs( not too hard to find). i heard the 150w cfl bulbs are about as effecient as 130 watts of Smaller bulbs. Not to mention you can disperse the light accordingly.
If you dont already have a fan on it, get one. it can thicken spindly stems.

(hypathetically speaking ofcourse)

on a tight no money really budget; why i was going to get the 2 42 watt ones for now, hopefully soon can invest in 100 watt bulb or better- just read up on those, didn't know they came that big as cfl's......but for now, does it help to put outside for a duration of time? I put these ladies out about 9amish and they come back in either before it starts raining or about 3pmish- which ever comes first, then they hang out under the lights I've said already.

And im a bit worried about the rust spots on the one plant as its starting to creep to higher and higher leaves........I think its Mg deficiency from what i've read but I really have no clue what im doing; just trying to follow what i read.

Any ideas and solutions for this?

Check your ph and if that checks out okay, 6.5-7 "for soil." I would try a good flush with just water and see if that helps. I cant really tell from the pics, maybe try getting a few shots of the rusting leaves.

Not sure how to post pics (the insert image button doesnt work, or doesnt show pics when i preview), but anyways the above links to my album that show the rust spots. Pretty much on one leaf, but the last pic is of a fan leaf close to top and you can see the 3 tiny rust spots forming; a few other leaves starting to show rust spots just not as bad as the one leaf. I've had 4 or so i plucked off earlier that were really yellow and spotted, I wish I had taken photos of them. I tried to get few shots of the worse leaf as it is only one my camera can pick up the detail in.....but like 6 of the 12 leaves have rust spots, they look kind of like the last pic. Ty for looking into this....oh cant test the ph yet; nothing to really test with, but ill try to get a soil test kit tomorrow when i get the new bulbs..

Ahah, Now i see, well yeah, i know you might have trouble just get a ph tester, so your gunna need to get Reverse Osmosis Water or even bottled water, and stop feeding it the solution, When you flush your plant it may look droopy for a while due to over watering but most plants can over come this. what ever you do dont Flood it out. I hope you arent using miracle grow soil, because with potted, heated soil the "time release ferts" can over release and burn your babies.

As for bringing it outside. just make sure you have the right lighting schedule(no more than 1 hour off of schedule), that water will help to flush. but dont make the light schedule too eratic during the budding phase(inside then outside inside the outside). it can really stress your plant if the atmospheres are drastically different. You will be suprised to see how fast your plant overcome disease. They really are hardy.

I sadly am using the Miracle grow soil...the one that has the continuous plant feed release.....

And i was worried about stressing the plant by bringing in and outside; whether it stays in or out, the 12/12 schedule doesn't change (8pm off, 8am on).....it does get direct sunlight when outside, just varies on length; sometimes i get lucky with constant sun, other times i get 15 mins sun 15 mins cloudy....
I try and let it soak up at least 4-5 hrs of sun if possible, and just started putting outside/inside about 2 weeks ago....should i just keep it inside under the lights i have (the 3 13 watt cfl and two fluors i have), or continue the mix of outside when i can and inside when i have to?

Ill stop with the nutrients and start trying to flush them out, but still want to do a ph test asap.....ill post my findings with some updated pics, appreciate the help!!

i do have one other question....Am I on week 3 of flowering or week 5?

If i include the first 2 weeks of 12/12, it will have been 5 weeks of 12/12......but the first 2 weeks is when plant is changing phases.....logic tells me that its 3 weeks flowering, I'm just unsure

Not enough money for anything this week; no bulbs no soil kit.....but i've started to flush the two plants out...will post updated pic next week

I think i'm going to track this grow, keep adding updated pics each week; anyone thats following along will be able to see why proper lighting, soil and water make a difference in your grow- I'm learning the hard way, but now i know.

Next grow should be much better!

My opinion would to be pick one or the ther done keep switching the plants from inside to outside. And for the Miracle gro just give it regular water for about a week then as you signs of nute deficiency add as you go along. But they are looking good other then the spots

It is also better to just learn your first time growing and learn bout the plant.

Hey, be proud of this grow buddy +)
For some of us it can be hard to get "free buds"

You should track it and ill tag along =)

As for the miracle grow you should be fine if its working as is.
You could put your buds out in bright daylight for about an hour to help thicked
and if your plant is still getting burned I highly doubt its a defficieny mabey an overdose. continue flushing and if
the leaves themsleves get yellow try adding the solution again in lower doses.

Well seeing you are in week three of flowering you should prolly continue watering with balanced PH water, mabey 'till harvest seeing you have miracle grow.

Hey man, I couldn't see the pics so I registered but I'll be using it, I need some fellow stoners to talk to ;) Them girls look pretty good to me, I don't think the rust spots'll cause any trouble, those buds should come out fine. Good luck with your harvest. BTW My neighbor's crappy network dropped in the middle of our RR so don't get the wrong idea ;) Talk to you later.

Lol DEPS; I actually thought it was my crap computer that dropped game, but its all good; anyways......

Got two 42 watt cfl's, will see how it helps......new pics saturday
