First grow cfl Kosher kush

Hey everyone this is my first grow so I'm hoping to get some advice, I've already done quite a bit of research myself but I'm just looking for more input. I'm currently growing two Kosher Kush strains. One is 1 week, the other is at 3 weeks. Right now I'm just growing in my closet but in a week or so I'll be getting a grow tent. Also trying to keep it on a low budget, and this is basically just a practice grow which is why only two plants. I'm using cfl lighting, I have a 150 Watt warm spectrum, a 120 Watt warm spectrum, and a 130 Watt cool spectrum. I plan on getting more blue/cool spectrum soon. I have a small fan blowing on the plants for circulation and stem strength. I just started feeding the plants, so far just one feeding, not really sure how often or how much to give them but I'm using miracle grow all purpose 24-8-6. So Far things seem to be looking good other than a few small burn spots on some leaves that were there before I started feeding. The soil they're in is ferti-lome cut & seed ready to use potting mix. Anyways any advice or suggestions is appreciated

I am just finishing up a run of Kosher in a ebb and flow type system and it was the lowest yielding yet. Watch those brown spots i had same thing and it was a mag deficiency. I had one really nice pheno with multiple branching and really nice buds (should have cloned), the 5 others were tall with smallish buds. Haven't test quality yet really so can only hope. Hopefully yours turns out better!!! I have read some great reviews but would be very reluctant to try it again.

I have two Koshers going, just a little older than yours. I noticed they are a little on the sensitive side to nutrients in early weeks, compared with other strains I am running. Recommend you not fertilize them anymore for awhile. Your 24-8-6 is pretty scary to me. Very high in nitrogen so at least get a ppm reading on your solution so you know what is going on.

I think ^ their right, looks like a 45 watt if that. You'll have to get more lol. My plants were started and vegged under 8 -HO T5's and flowered under a 600hps with cfl side lighting and still nodes were well spaced on them.

Yeah the wattage I posted is the equivalent. So I need to go higher? What is the recommended nutrients for this stage? That part is really confusing me. Thanks for the feedback

I usually dont start feeding till about week 5 but u cant really go wrong with the fox farms trio. Start off with 1/4 strength then gradually go up in doses each feed. When u start to flower, flush then wait 2 weeks before u start feeding bloom nutes at 1/4 strength. But just keep a close eye on ur ladys, theyll let u know when theyre hungry.

And yes. The sun puts out roughly 10,000 lumens per sq. so measure ur grow space and try to match the sun as best as possible.
