Thanks man! +Rep!
Any help any one about using topping and LSTing combined together?
I hate to keep giving you all your answers lol but once you top your plant, give it a couple weeks to heal and you can start tieing the new "main branches down" "lsting them" however you want :)

I actually have a girl that I can show you a pic of that I just harvested. She was vegged for around 3 weeks then topped and thrown into flowering. Once her branching started to stretch I did some minor lst and this is how she came out:) Oh and thanks for the rep!

1st pic 2 weeks into flower, 2nd 8 weeks:leaf:

I also have Bio Grow/Bloom with All-mix. As far as I read these nutrients are great and there shouldn't be any problems.

Did you change the lighting to 12/12 right after you topped the plant, on the same day? I thought It's too much stress, but if it's working I gotta try it :P

At day 5!
Our big baby is now called Clara.

Theyre all looking bigger and bigger every day and were really exited!

Just moved them into a 20/4 light cycle, and tuke out a 55W 2700K CFL that made the heat issue a big prob..

tomorrow going to bring another 4" Vent for intake air and i hope that it will fix all the heat problems..

Comments please! tell us how they look, if there's anything that we might forgot..
we really love them so were worried all the time

Yup, but thats going to be a bit of a problem.. im flying next Monday and coming back on Friday afternoon..
im going to have to figure out how am i going take care of the plants before i leave.. water them, get the lights a bit far? move them to the bigger pots? top them even though they might be a little too small?

im going to need all the help i can get from the more experienced growers out here for what i'll do when im leaving on a four day vacation...

I don't think much can happen in 4 days. I mean sure... everything can happen, but just make sure they are watered enough (don't over do it tho'), put the lights 4-5 inches further OR better you can just put the on their side if you can :) they can't get that much wider in 4 days. Also about the pots, it's always good to have them in bigger pots :)

im going to keep only two plants (third one will move on to the window and try it nature way:leaf:)
The bigger pot's are almost 2 gallons pot's (quit big for the little growbox..)
so i think i can still wait before moving them because they are still small..

also i think ill add an intake fan because temps reach almost 90F when i dont open the box for a long time and 4 days are sure going to make temps go up if i wont add extra ventilation..

do you think an extra exhaust fan like i have now will help keep the temps down better then an intake fan at the bottom of the box?

Do you have any intake hole at all right now like a "passive intake" that should be all you need and maybe another exhaust fan depending on the size of the box and the amount of cfm you fan is rated at.

Don't worry about transplanting anytime soon.

+rep, love the thread man, im growing two plants in almost the exact same setup. My plants are a lil older though. I was having a heat issue also, soo i took down thefoil that lined the inside of my box and that dropped temp by 7-8 degrees F. dont know if thats an option for you. Another issue im having is low humidity, plants are currently under humidity domes(bottoms cut off two liter soda bottles with a few holes poked in the tops)I take them off once or twice a day for a few mins to air out, once they get a lil bigger im gonna sort of ween them of the domes. hope this was somewhat helpfull. Good luck man.

All the little ladies are looking alot bigger!

I add another fan as an intake fan at the bottom and i hope that it's going to help keep the temp down, if not im going to put it up as another exhaust fan.

There coming a long very well DB! Just make sure the intake isn't as strong or even close to the power of the exhaust becasue that will make it worse..

i noticed
they are the same fan.. should i maybe block it a little so it will suck less air inside?
or should i move it up and make it an exhaust fan?

Personally I would set up a "Passive intake" which is basically just a decent size hole and the pressure from the exhaust fans will force air through that intake hole. I would try 2 exhaust fans. Make sure your intake is obviously low to suck in cooler air and your exhaust fans are high.. I think you will be good with this setup as its worked for me in a couple different boxes and cabs:)

i had 1 exhaust fan and an intake hole at the bottom but still had high temps..
im going to move the second fan to make a second exhaust fan at the top..

here you can see there is a passive hole at the right, and at the back the intake fan that i need to reverse to an exhaust fan..

Your passive hole is probably going to have to be pretty big or you could get another small fan if you don't want to cut a big hole but just see how it does with that size hole and 2 exhaust fans for now.

Do you know the cfm of those fans?
