First grow ! blue dream / LA confidential in soil. progress pics !!

Hi all. been lurking around for awhile now so thought id share what i've learned. or at least what i've put to use. maybe ill update this with progress too.

started from small clones, maybe im cheating, lol. But im freaking stoked how fast these bastards grow and i haven't killed em yet ! heres some pics, first is at 3 weeks, then the clones right after i transplanted to soil which im calling day 1 then theres a single plant at 3 weeks,and a pic at 1 and a half weeks. Sorry i didnt get them order

water right out of my tap. never checked Ph honestly. where i live we've got some of the best water around and im relying on the PH-Perfect from the nutes to do that anyway from now on.
soil : roots 707
nutes : Kangaroots from day one
I just started using Sensi-Grow Ph perfect from AN 2 waterings ago so maybe 5 days ish ? not very long.
2x 1000w MH Lights
400 CFm fan ,both lights ducted, intake from outside air. another old piece of shit fan venting the whole room, god these lights are hot. And i think i insulated the room too much. Temps range 65 - 85.

I stick my finger in the soil and feel the weight of the pot to tell when to water them, and i Foilar feed every day, spray them down top and semi bottom of the leaves right before 12 when the lights turn off. I figure thats the best so the lights dont cook it all away.

never used another Root innoculator but kangaroots is kicking ass. These plants are already ( i think ) rootbound at 3 weeks, the roots entirely circle the pot and clump at the bottom. I trasnplanted one and it was cake, the thing just slid right out cause its a ball of damn roots. tomorrow transplanting them all into 3 or 5 gallons. obviously i dont know any different but . . .




how am i doing ? how is the growth rate ? is hydro really that much faster than this ... i mean .. holy shit!

thoughts , suggestions, critique welcome please.

and im sorry i didnt turn my lights off and its got the bars. right now thats my only light source lol.

If so, you probably want to stop with the misting/ foliar feeding, as it increases chances of bud rot.
Looks like you're in for some pretty tall plants....... Any chance of getting your lights a bit closer?

Nope ! its been straight 18/6 since i got them in there. No flowering yet although if they could potentially triple in size i should probably start 12/12 soon. I guess that's sort of the dilema ... veg longer and potentially get them TOO tall and burn the best top buds or flower early and fuck my yields up.

And i know about the light height , but it's an optical illusion. The lights are ( were ) closer to the plants than it looks.


So Maybe i'll go get another ( better ) pic with a flourescent so no lines, all are in 5 gallon pots now, had to raise the lights furthur ( yikes ! ) just to properly distribute the light across the gazillion plants i decided to stick in there.

I wouldnt say stretching bad depnding strain lol....what kinda light you got now ??

Blue dream stretches like crazy. My last blue dream run i put them into flowering at about 8 inches tall and this is what they lookee like at end.

both are 1000W with Metal Halides in them. I've got 2 hortilux hps to stick in there for flowering
