DAY SEVEN

Alright, it rained really hard last night, and I didn't get to bring the babies in. :( So a couple of them got beaten down a little and were leaning to the side of the cups. I'm also afraid the hard rain washed away the insecticides, as I found another bug on the same one again. Should I re-spray? It says every 2 weeks.... and will my babies be okay from the rain? I'll be waiting til day after tomorrow to re-water them after that rainfall.

Pictures (sorry for the blurry ones, I'll do better next time - and notice the one that is bent down from the rainfall)

Setup

(rain beat down on this one)

Are they looking okay?

No worries. She looks like she'll pop right back up. Actually doesn't look bad at all for being after a big storm. Just get them in some sunlight.

Thanks a lot! Do you think I should re-spray them with insecticides?

Also, I had to re-fill in a little soil because the rain weighed down the current soil about a quarter of an inch, plus it helped prop the leaning plants back up. I didn't water the newly filled in soil, though, assuming I didn't need to with all that moisture underneath.

Thanks again for your help!

Thats your call. If you think bugs are going to eat them up where they are, go ahead and very lightly mist them. I've always only had bug trouble when the plants were a little older.

Alright, thanks again. I suppose I'll wait until tomorrow evening and maybe spray a light mist once again.

I can't wait until October. :)
