Its not really a fixture, its more bulbs just hanging :grin:

got a stapling gun with these staples that are supposed to keep down big wires so it leaves a little room for them; stapled a bunch of then in marked spots, ducktaped 2 strings onto extension chords. Its cool cuz i use the wire for the extension chord in combination with the 2 strings to position it any way I want it.

I make good use with what I find laying around in my house :grin:

About the stems, when my little ones are a little crooked, I put them in the sun, with the bend turned away from the sun, so they bend themselves back towards the sun. Get what I mean. It works out well.

oh yea lower the e-blanket down some bro just under the pot level so some light can go under down to the stem

Naw dude its called a light bulb socket (http://img01.static-nextag.com/image/Westinghouse-Light-Bulb-Socket/1/000/006/432/534/643253431.jpg), you can buy those things at like home depot except they have a bottom that plugs into an outlet or in my case extension chord

There is flat white paint below the mylar that reflects very well.

ok ya ijust bought some but im PISSED!!!!

I bought a CFL but its a "soft white" and compared to my ultra-white desk lamp.. it looks like an incandescent!!!!

should I get a refund??

U can see the diff in light colors! =/

Soft white is meant for flowering. You shoulda bought Daylight lamps for vegetation

I did the same mistake when i first bought bulbs

Ok I got a 15W and a 10 W CFL... theyre both 6500 K.

Small, but very bright. I wanted to buy a 60W (or maybe 100W?) CFL 6500K but u need a 3 prong outlet and i dont have that =/

Are these lights too small?

not for what you are doing right now, but they won't have enough lumens once those plants get any bigger... read up on the recommended amount of lumens per sq ft (alt. per plant). There's loads of info all over this site about that. The wattage itself really has no importance to the plant. That's more about your electricity bill. Sure, you could have 100 of those little lights and get the same lumenocity as several of the bigger bulbs. Actually, that might be better coverage, lol! But do your homework on the lumens. That will steer you straight.

Ya I'll prob buy bigger bulbs for the veg... still looking for a job now tho... lmao.. long story but i aint lazy
