First grow - Bag seeds

Tried to germinate about 40 seeds. only 3 sprouted lol. No idea what strain, im only growing them to gain experience so that i dont screw up when i buy some really good seeds. I have 2 under a dual, 2 ft fluorescent fixture and the other under a cfl. in the dual fixture i have a cool white and a grow light that i got from wal mart. Not going to invest in a mh or hps till later on.

The grow space is, on average, 77 degrees and 45% humidity. using organic seed starting jiffy mix with about 25% perlite added to it. Got the lights set to run 16/8. thinking about stepping it up an extra hour of light everyday till i get to 24 hours on.

Ill put pics up when they get a couple leaves

Any advice or questions welcome.

changed the setup for more efficiency and put the babys in bigger 'bowls' i guess you could say. ones a soil/perlite mix and the other is torn up rockwool. by the way both of the bowls have a ton of holes drilled in the bottom for drainage.

the very tip of the first 2 main leaves are turning white. I think i just had the lights too close. Now they are 3 inches away

i was bored so i took some more pics the 2 last ones really show where the tip of the leaf got bleached by one of the cfls

quick update, just wanted to share a few pictures. First is a little chunk of bud, smokes pretty good. Second is an older pic. the last pic is the newest, it shows some nute burn. I started adding a little too soon.
