guys thanks SO much for all the advice. i really appreciate it!
matt, never would take that the wrong way man, your absolutely right! definitely not hating on the bag beans i got...they came from pretty great stock actually...and i do have another 70 to play with...lol.
thegersman, def hear ya about flowering, kinda what i figured. definitely the type of info i was looking for. the cab was originally meant to be pretty stealthy, but that wasn't the main concern. didn't realize it at the time but the cab won't be warm enough to use until spring, even if i get insulation, i think...
anyways, matt, I'm not necessarily in a huge rush or anything. i mean, yes of course i would love to have some healthy lush plants but i literally have 70 beans to play with, and i essentially am just trying to learn as much as possible...just because i like to! i don't NEED to do any of this, my guy is good on the reg, and granted it would be nice not to pay, but I'm literally doing this just for fun. i mean i guess its become more than JUST for fun, spent a decent amount on this cab so far, but I'm not worried! WORST case ill build another small indoor cab just for the winter...using some parts (like lights etc) from the big cab til its warm enough. which is kinda defeating the purpose of INDOOR growing lol but hey, all good!
matt, ur plants look AWESOME! it even LOOKS like i did something right, is your cab a very similar setup? i see the 23 or 26 watt cfls and painted plywood so...lol...cool!
so whats an ideal humidity guys? and what i MAY do at this point is let this lil experiment continue, even if it takes all winter for these lil runts to veg, then flower them inside when i get ANOTHER (frigging) cab built. hell might as well right?
i have germinated more beans, did a couple double or triple beans in the cups, two cups total, two beans had ACTUALLY sprouted and gave them the center position in the cup, put the ones that didn't pop after 3 days in with them, they may or may not pop at some point. if they do, cool! maybe transplant them to their own cup when, well transplanting...
guna have to build a new super stealth cab soon is what it sounds like...i haven't checked on the babies yet, but last time i saw them it was 77 degrees fahrenheit and 16 percent humidity. they ARE still growing, probably not very quickly or anything, but hey!
they DO need nutes soon...we shall see what turns out. i will keep everyone posted. thanks again for stopping by and taking the time to help out a noob guys! i really do appreciate it.
