First grow (auto-flowering questions)

My buddy gave me a feminized Gigabud (auto) and I have a few questions about the auto-flower strains and the lighting.

First off what CFL's do I use for veg and flowering stages,do i change light spectrums or keep the same all the way. I plan on keeping an 18/6 cycle throughout so I can veg some other non auto strains I'm getting in.

When it comes to feeding I hear the autos are pretty sensitive. Whats a good schedule when the soil runs out of n
utes?
Obviously I'm going organic so if anyone has a good mix for auto's please let me know.

Any help is greatly appreciated and I'm sure there will be more questions to come.

I take it back. my fault.

Bat Guano is good for auto's. and just use it as the directions say. the Ideal lighting schedule would be 20/4, but 18/6 works just as well.

Is it fast flowering? I haven't seen the place he got it from. I'm pretty sure though he also ordered some lowrider and I know that one is auto. I guess I will look into it. My bad seedless I pretty sure I just sounded like a big douche

Does the light spectrum need to change at all? I have a lot of blue and a few red. Should I add more red as it starts to flower or can I keep it the same?

I'm pretty sure it is The website my buddy got it from said flowering took only 60 days Dont reply if you can't give me information I can use

Ouch.. little harsh don't you think? I also think he is right. I have found Gigabud seeds and no where does it mention anything about auto-flowering. Typically if a strain is an auto-flower strain, that would be advertised in the description. I took this directly from Attitude.

G13 Labs Gigabud Feminized

Variety: Indica / Sativa Mix
Harvest Date: September/October
Flowering Period: 5-6 weeks
THC Content: 15%
Yield: High
No. of seeds Per Packet: 5 feminized
Characteristics: Monster buds. G13 Labs Gigabud has compact monster buds covered with fat, thick resin. Gigabud is fast flowering, compact and is easy to manicure making this an ideal variety for the indoors. Gigabud is compact but can reach 1.5m if left unattended. These gigantic buds have a deep green color, are super heavy and dense with a rich, with a aromatic sweet hash flavour. Gigabud has a long lasting body mainly indica-type feel

No mention of auto-flowering. I think it's just a stain that completes the flowering phase quickly.

Yeah like i said my comment earlier was very douche like. So if its just fast flowering then what are the differences between autoflowering apart ffrom having to induce flowering and going from an 18/6 to 12/12 schedule?

No worries.. :) You actually answered your own question. The difference IS that you have to induce flowering. An Auto-flowering strain will start flowering when ever it's ready to regardless of the light schedule. A fast flowering strain simply completes the flowering phase quicker than normal strains. Hope this helps. :)
